Crib Break and Meal Allowances. In the circumstances where an employee is required to work more than two hours overtime after the ordinary ceasing time, Monday to Friday, a meal will be provided or a payment of $10.20 for meals will be made. In addition the employee will be entitled to a paid crib break of 30 minutes prior to the overtime commencing or be paid 30 minutes at the overtime rate of time and a half in lieu of the crib break. In the circumstances where an employee is required to work more than 8 hours overtime on either Saturday or Sunday, a meal will be provided or a payment of $10.20 in lieu will be made. In addition the employee will entitled to a crib break of 30 minutes prior to the overtime commencing or be paid 30 minutes at the overtime rate of double time in lieu of the crib break.

Crib Break and Meal Allowances. If an Employee is required to work more than two hours Overtime after the ordinary ceasing time, Monday to Friday, a meal will be provided or a payment of $10.20 for meals will be made. In addition, the Employee will be entitled to a paid crib break of 30 minutes prior to the third hour of Overtime commencing or be paid 30 minutes at ordinary rates in addition to the Overtime actually worked. An Employee required to work Overtime on a Saturday, Sunday or RDO shall be allowed a paid 20 minute crib break in the morning. The Employee will also be entitled to a 30 minute unpaid meal break after five hours worked where a minimum of 8 hours (exclusive of the meal break) is to be worked. Payment for the crib break shall be at the prevailing Overtime rate. A further paid meal break of 30 minutes shall be due at the commencement of the ninth hour if working more than 9 hours, and paid at the prevailing Overtime rate. Subsequent paid meal breaks are due for each additional 4 hours beyond the ninth hour. In the circumstances where an Employee is required to work more than 8 hours Overtime on either Saturday or Sunday, a meal will be provided or a payment of $10.20 in lieu will be made. The times of taking the breaks will be as agreed between LAJV and majority of Employees affected.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate.

  • Educational Allowance Special Preparation Bonuses Per Month Per Shift (Full-time) (Part-time)

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.
