Computation of Hours. All leaves described herein must be reported on the appropriate forms. For computing sick leave, one hour of sick leave will be taken for every 50 minutes of class missed. Only missed scheduled activities will be submitted as leave. These activities include but are not limited to classes, meetings, advising hours, and office hours.

Computation of Hours. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, only the hours actually worked, paid holiday(s) and paid vacation days are to be counted in computing “hours worked” for overtime pay.
Computation of Hours. In computing hours worked on late arrivals, early departures and for overtime in connection with attendance control, an employee will be credited with time worked from the start of the one‐tenth (1/10) hour interval in which the recorded starting time falls, and to the end of the one‐tenth (1/10) hour interval in which the recorded time of departure falls. Elapsed hours will be computed in terms of hours and tenths of hours.
Computation of Hours. The employee's number of hours worked in a bargaining unit classification during a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) will be reviewed for grouping at the end of that fiscal year. Employees will be assigned to the appropriate grouping based on those hours worked. Group designations will be effective on July 1 of the subsequent fiscal year. A new employee will not be officially designated to a group until the end of the fiscal year. The Classification system of bargaining unit employees is as follows: Group A: 0-1000 hours worked per fiscal year Regularly scheduled up to 20 hours per week Group B: 1001-1560 hours worked per fiscal year Regularly scheduled 21-30 hours per week Group C: 1561+ hours worked per fiscal year Regularly scheduled 31+ hours per week Based on hours worked, Management will designate the group to which an employee is assigned based on hours worked. Computation of Hours. Hours during a work period which are listed as regular hours, 258 overtime hours, and annual leave hours will be credited as "hours worked" for purposes 259 of computing overtime pay. For computing sick leave for a regular work schedule of assignments over a five- day period, a day shall be eight (8) hours. For an alternate work schedule of assignments over four (4) days or less, a day shall be determined by how the particular day missed has been designed to fit a 40-hour week. All alternative work schedules must be mutually acceptable to the employee and immediate supervisor subject to approval by the Chief Academic Officer and the Chief Human Resources Officer.

  • Reduction of Hours The Employer shall not reduce the weekly hours of work of an employee for the purpose of replacing such hours with another employee at a lower hourly rate of pay.

  • Conversion of Hours where an employee is granted vacation pursuant to this article, and where the regularly scheduled workday is greater than seven hours per day, the annual vacation entitlement shall be converted to hours on the basis of a seven-hour day and deducted accordingly.

  • Spread of Hours The ordinary hours of work prescribed in this agreement shall be between the hours of 6.00 am and 6.00 pm on any day or all of the days of the week, Monday to Friday. The spread of hours may be varied by mutual agreement between the parties to meet specific needs of the Company or employees.

  • Span of Hours (a) The ordinary hours of work for a day worker will be between 6.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.

  • Number of Hours enter the total number of hours worked during the report period by the Employees in the employment category. Amount Payable under the Contract: enter the total amount paid by the State to the State Contractor under the Contract, for work by the Employees in the employment category, for services provided during the report period.

  • List of Holidays a) The Employer recognizes the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Family Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Christmas Day Easter Monday Boxing Day Victoria Day Civic Holiday (deferred to Christmas Shutdown) Canada Day Plus, any other day(s) declared or proclaimed as a Statutory Holiday by the Federal or Provincial Government. The Employer shall post a list no later than December 15th of each year stating on which day the Civic Holiday and any other deferred holiday will be observed.

  • Number of Holidays (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only) There shall be twelve (12) holidays and these holidays are set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. Should the Hospital be required to observe an additional paid holiday as a result of legislation, it is understood that one of the existing holidays recognized by the Hospital shall be established as the legislated holiday after discussion with the Union, so that the Hospital's obligation to provide the number of paid holidays as noted above remains unchanged.

  • Scheduling of Hours (1) Starting and finishing times scheduled by mutual agreement.

  • Observance of Holidays The Board of Trustees may establish calendars that observe holidays on dates other than those listed above, or as modified by current institutional practices.
