Alternate Work Schedule is a work schedule prepared pursuant to the terms of Federal Employee Flexible and Compressed Work Schedule Act of 1982, P.L. 97-221.

Alternate Work Schedule. An alternate work schedule is any work schedule where an employee is regularly scheduled to work five (5) days per week, but the employee’s regularly scheduled two (2) days off are NOT Saturday and Sunday.

• Written agreement for regular alternative workweeks is established by signing the Change in Personnel Status form and the Alternate Work Schedule Agreement (Appendix E) form which identifies the type of schedule.

• Specific work hours for each day and for each employee will be defined in each AWS (Alternate Work Schedule) where applicable.

• Eligibility for these opportunities shall be in accordance with the County of Santa ▇▇▇▇▇ Alternate Work Schedule Policy or Teleworking Policy for CEMA represented classifications.

• The parties agree that the Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program is the only designated Alternate Work Schedule within the Health Unit.
