Hour Week definition

Hour Week. For employees on a forty (40) hour week schedule, the annual salary shall be the product of the hourly salary times 2,080 hours.

Examples of Hour Week in a sentence

  • The ordinary hours of work for a full-time Employee provided by subclause 13.1 shall be worked in one of the methods set out in Annexure 6 – 38 Hour Week.

  • Hour Week: The scheduling of work will be based on the concept of a 35 hour week and hourly rates will be calculated accordingly.

Related to Hour Week

  • Week means seven consecutive days.

  • A week means seven days without regard to the number of hours worked in any day in that week.

  • Calendar Week means any period of seven days starting with the same day as the first day of the First Assignment;

  • Work Week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year, i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Peak Period means a period between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm (WST) on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
