Civil Duty Time Off. Paid time off shall be granted to employees to serve on jury duty, as trial witnesses, or to exercise other subpoenaed civil duties. Employees may request to change their schedule to accommodate civil duty leave.

Civil Duty Time Off. All full-time and part-time nurses who are required to serve on jury duty or who are called to be a witness on behalf of the Employer in any judicial proceeding, shall be compensated by the Employer for the difference between their jury duty/witness fee pay and their regular rate of pay. Nurses subpoenaed for proceedings not involving the Employer will be given unpaid release time.

  • Civic Duty Leave A. Employees summoned for jury duty will be granted a leave of absence with pay for time lost from their regular work schedule while on said jury duty upon presentation of the appropriate summons to the department head by the employee.

  • BEREAVEMENT PAY 22.01 The Employer agrees that in the event of a death in the immediate family, the Employer shall grant bereavement leave of three (3) consecutive calendar days with pay. This leave includes both working and non-working days.
