Time Off With Pay. The District will afford reasonable time off with pay to elected officers or appointed representatives of the Association.
Time Off With Pay. (a) As per Article 1, Section 5 of the Contract, Union Shop Stewards shall be released for a maximum of two (2) hours off with pay, each month, to attend union meetings. There shall be a maximum of two (2) such meetings per month. The unused time shall not accrue from month to month.
Time Off With Pay. In Lieu of Overtime Employees may accumulate in-lieu time to a maximum of 200 hours for 40-hour assignments or 280 hours for 56-hour assignments. However, only employee recall or other overtime mandated by the department may be banked as in-lieu time and only at the discretion and approval of the Fire Chief. All other overtime will be paid.
Time Off With Pay. An employee serving on jury duty shall receive time off with pay provided the employee reimburses the Employer the jury pay received less mileage. An employee shall return to work daily when released from jury duty.
Time Off With Pay. The Executive shall be immediately credited with 20 days of accrued paid time off as of the Effective Date. In addition, the Executive will accrue at least 4 weeks vacation per year of service.
Time Off With Pay. 10.1 Time off with pay granted to accredited representatives or any employee under the terms of this agreement, will be paid as if she/he had worked during the period when the time off was taken, provided that the amount of time taken is reasonable in the circumstances.
Time Off With Pay. The Board of Education will afford reasonable time off without pay to elected officers or appointed representatives of District Lodge No. 77 for the purposes of conducting the duties of District Lodge No. 77.
Time Off With Pay. Recognised trade union representatives will be afforded reasonable time off with pay to undertake trade union duties and training. There is no statutory requirement to pay for time off where the duties or training is carried out at a time when the official would not otherwise have been at work.
Time Off With Pay. The City agrees to allow time off with pay for the following: • a mutually agreed upon number of designated representatives to engage in contract negotiations, provided that the number of all union representatives shall be equal to the number of all city representatives. • authorized Union representatives will be granted limited time off with pay for the handling of grievances, elections, workplace voting, and contract ratification votes. • up to 4 hours shared per week will be available for the president, the vice-president, and/or the chief xxxxxxx of Local 1937 for the conduct of business directly pertaining to the administration of the agreement. These hours do not roll over from one week to the next; and shall be recorded on timesheets using the assigned job cost code. • employees designated as Local 1937 Civil Service representatives will be paid for their attendance at Civil Service meetings during those hours which coincide with their regular work shift. • designated Union representatives will be paid for their attendance at labor relations conferences determined by the City to be of mutual benefit to the parties. • designated Civil Service union rep will be granted 1 hour per month, non-cumulative to review materials (this will not be overtime but on regular work shift). • employees appealing issues to an administrative hearing level including Civil Service, arbitration, and mediation. Union members engaged in the above activities will not leave their workstations without the prior approval of their supervisors, and will notify their supervisors upon return to work stations.
Time Off With Pay. Employees bereaved by a death of a member of their immediate family will be granted time off with pay for time to travel to and from the funeral location and attendance at the funeral.
