University Affiliation Clause Samples
The University Affiliation clause establishes the relationship between an individual or entity and a specific university, typically clarifying whether the person is acting on behalf of the institution or in a personal capacity. This clause may require the party to disclose their official status, such as faculty, student, or researcher, and may set boundaries on the use of the university’s name, resources, or reputation in connection with the agreement. Its core function is to prevent misunderstandings or misrepresentations regarding the university’s involvement, ensuring that all parties are clear about the extent and limits of the affiliation.
University Affiliation. An Extension Lecturer may use his or her work email and 16 affiliation to the University of Washington in association with professional publications, subject to 17 UW policies and state ethics laws.
University Affiliation. It was agreed that the tour had confirmed how essential university affiliation was to the development of lexicography. Government institutions visited which had been tasked with practical language work tended to flounder and slow progress was the norm, rather than the exception. Access to university resources was also crucial in this work, and the development of the prestige of practical language work seems to require an academic outlook and academic skills.
1. Lexicography Summit (year 2000/2001). It was agreed that the Team should start preparations for an Internatioal Conference on Lexicography for the year 2000 or 2001 in anticipation of approval of the Proposal for institutionalisation of lexicography at UZ. It was also agreed that this would be a good first major activity of the Centre, especially since it would demonstrate from the very beginning its commitment to developing a regional centre for excellence in practical language work.
