Adverse Weather. Shall be only weather that satisfies all of the following conditions: (1) unusually severe precipitation, sleet, snow, hail, or extreme temperature or air conditions in excess of the norm for the location and time of year it occurred based on the closest weather station data averaged over the past five years, (2) that is unanticipated and would cause unsafe work conditions and/or is unsuitable for scheduled work that should not be performed during inclement weather (i.e., exterior finishes), and (3) at the Project.

Adverse Weather. 7.1 It is the Customer’s responsibility to inform Tardis, by no later than 9am on the day of Delivery, collection or services, if adverse weather (including temperatures below zero degrees Celsius) is affecting or likely to affect the Site on the date of Delivery. 7.2 If the Customer fails to comply with its obligations under clause 7.1 and Tardis is unable to Delivery the Equipment or perform the Services Tardis shall be entitled to charge the full rate as per the Order. 7.3 For Equipment and/or Services that may be affected by temperatures below zero degrees Celsius Tardis reserves the right to alter the Delivery date to a day when temperatures are sufficient to allow the Equipment to work or the Services to be supplied. In those circumstances the Customer shall not be entitled to rescind the Contract.
Adverse Weather. Contract Time is determined with consideration given to the average climate weather conditions prevailing in the County in which the Project is located during any given month as published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and averaged over the past 10 years. Contractor is allowed a time extension for adverse weather if it causes delays that unreasonably increase the labor required to complete the scheduled tasks on the day affected by adverse weather not reasonably anticipated. Contractor shall not be allowed an increase in Contract Sum for the delay. Contractor shall work additional days if necessary at no cost to District, irrespective of adverse weather, to maintain access and the Contract Schedule, and to protect the Work from the effects of Adverse Weather.

All custodial/maintenance employees shall report to work on days when school is closed because of adverse weather unless specifically excused, provided, however, that any employee shall be allowed up to two (2) hours to report on such days without loss of pay if reasonably required. A custodial/maintenance employee who is specifically excused shall receive his regular compensation for time lost. B. Paraprofessionals and bus drivers - adverse weather. If school is called off, neither aides nor bus drivers are required to report for work. Bus drivers and paraprofessionals will be paid for the Act of God days and will make up those days without additional pay if Act of God days must be made up in order to achieve full state aid.
Adverse Weather. Contractor, in consultation with Operator, shall decide when, in the face of impending adverse weather conditions, to institute precautionary measures in order to safeguard the Well, the Well equipment, the Drilling Rig and Contractor’s Personnel to the fullest possible extent. Contractor and Operator shall each ensure that each of their respective senior representatives at the drilling location will not act unreasonably in the exercise of their discretion under this Article 27.

Adverse Weather. 28.01 The manager or his/her delegate concerned shall be the sole judge of what constitutes adverse weather conditions. The manager or his/her delegate shall be cognizant of the work that should not be performed in certain weather conditions. 28.02 During such period management will endeavour to provide alternate work. 28.03 An employee who does not show up for work when the Corporation is open, must use vacation time, or make up the time for the duration of the missed working hours.
