Ordinary Rostered Hours definition

Ordinary Rostered Hours are those hours applicable to Ranger staff that are rostered on weekends and public holidays. “Planning Officer” is an employee responsible for managing the Planning Unit within the Incident Management Team and collation of information to support the incident and development of Incident Action Plans. “Prescribed over time rates” are as per current Awards i.e. SAPSSEI Award, South Australian Government Services Award or the South Australian Government Civil Construction and Maintenance Award (whichever is relevant). Refer to Clause 6.1.6.2 of the SAPSSEI Award “Programmed Day Off” is a paid day/s off, except those days that are taken as approved leave or time off in lieu. “Recall to Duty” is where an employee is recalled to work necessitating their attendance at the normal workplace, temporary workplace, or assembly point outside of ordinary hours as directed by the employer for which prescribed overtime rates will be paid. Ordinary Hours means 38 hours per week within the spread of hours which may be averaged over a 12 month period.
Man Hours means the hours spent by the Supplier Personnel properly working on the provision of the Goods and/or Services including time spent travelling (other than to and from the Supplier's offices, or to and from the Sites) but excluding lunch breaks;
Clock hour(s means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school-age care competencies.

Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;
Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.
Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits. Base hours shall also include hours a staff member would have worked except for having been in military service. Base hours do not include hours for when a staff member receives other types of compensation, such as administrative, personal leave, vacation, or sick leave.
Hour means an hour of sixty minutes. For the purpose of hire and / or penalty charges, fraction of an hour up to 30 (thirty) minutes will not be taken into account and more than 30 (thirty) minutes will be treated as one full hour.
Support Hours means 24 hours per day with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day;
Week means seven consecutive days.

Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.
On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.
Working Hours means 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (local time) on a Business Day.
Operating Hours means the hours listed in an early learning program parent handbook when the program is open and providing care and services to children.
Contact hour means an hour of training received through direct instruction.
Normal Business Hours means 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., EST/EDT, on Business Days.
Kilowatt-hour or “kWh” shall mean three decimal six million (3.6 10E6) Joule
Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.
Building Contractor means the building contractor or developer appointed or to be appointed by the Grant Recipient in respect of a Firm Scheme; Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a statutory Bank Holiday in England;

STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.
