Employees would still have the option of requesting the days / shifts to be paid as Annual Leave, Long Service Leave or Rostered Day Off (RDO).
The tenth (10th) day shall be known as the Rostered Day Off or ‘RDO’.
Except where the provisions of 18.4.1 above apply, if a public holiday, other than Waitangi Day and ANZAC Day, falls on weekday Rostered Day Off (including for shift rosters under 8.1.2 (a) and schedule 10 rosters) then the Employee shall be granted an additional day’s leave at a later date convenient to the Employer.
Should no alternative date be agreed to, or else if it is their preferred option, employees agree to access either their Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, Personal Leave or Rostered Day Off (RDO) to make up the required paid time.
