If such an employee is off the payroll for one hundred sixty (160) consecutive hours, his or her vacation shall be as provided in the preceding paragraph of this Section 16.8 (Prorated Vacation due to Extended Absence, Reemployment or Reinstatement) or Section 16.9 (Payment of Vacation upon Termination or Extended Leave after Six Months of Service).
Service seniority shall be accrued by hourly paid employees by actual hours worked, to be calculated as follows: Months of Service = Total Hours Divided by 154 rounded to the next highest month.
Vacations with pay shall be granted annually to all full-time employees based upon the following schedule: Earned Working Working Days Months of Service Hours per Month per Year Max.
Effective August 1, 1997 the calculation of service seniority from that date forward for hourly paid employees shall be: Months of Service = Total Hours Divided by 151.67 rounded to the next highest month.
To determine the number of whole years of an individual's period of service, nonsuccessive periods of service are aggregated and less than whole year periods of service (whether or not consecutive) are aggregated on the basis that twelve (12) Months of Service (thirty days are deemed to be a month in the case of the aggregation of fractional months) or three hundred sixty-five (365) days of service equal a whole Year of Service.
