Union Officials and Stewards. The Union shall have the right to designate a xxxxxxx for each warehouse. The Union shall keep the Employer Informed In writing as to the names of the stewards currently authorized to represent the Union. The authorized Union business representatives shall he admitted to the Employer’s warehouses during rea­ sonable business hours for the purposes of adjusting disputes, Investigating working conditions and ascer­ taining whether or not this Agreement Is being ob­ served. Sncb activity shall be conducted In snch a manner as not to Interfere with the orderly operation of the Employer’s business. It being further agreed that lengthy discussions between employees and rep­ resentatives of the Union, Including the xxxxxxx, or among themselves, concerning disputes shall not take place during working hours.

Union Officials and Stewards. The Employer recognizes that the right of the Union to designate job stewards and alternates from the employer’s seniority list. The Employer will be notified in writing by an officer of the union the name of the Xxxxxxx (and alternate if named). The authority of job stewards and alternates so designated by the Union shall be limited to and shall not exceed the following duties and activities:
Union Officials and Stewards. 1. The employer agrees that the Union may appoint stewards and designate their area of representation. Stewards will be members of the bargaining unit and assigned so as to provide each employee with reasonable access to a Union representative. The Union will supply the employer, in writing, and shall maintain on a current basis a list of Union officials and authorized stewards and their area of representation. There shall be no more than a total of twenty (20) Union stewards at any given time. The Air may have up to six (6) Union stewards assigned and the Army may have up to fourteen (14) Union stewards assigned.

  • Labor/Management Relations Section 9.1 Representatives of the Union, not to exceed five (5) in number including at least one (1) representative of each shift, and representatives of the Employer, shall meet at least quarterly at mutually agreed upon times for up to two (2) hours to discuss matters of mutual concern relating to the interpretation, application, or administration of this Agreement and existing work rules which affect the members of the bargaining unit. Each party shall prepare and submit an agenda to the other party one (1) week prior to the scheduled meeting.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend the Collective Agreement.
