TRIAL EMPLOYMENT. When recommended by a vocational rehabilitation counselor and approved by the appropriate University official, a qualified former non-probationary career disabled employee may be offered temporary trial employment to evaluate the employee's interests and abilities. The length of this trial employment, which shall not exceed one year, shall be determined by the counselor in consultation with the employing Department/Division Head. Positions used for trial employment shall not be designated as career, except that an employee shall maintain benefits to the extent permitted by benefit plan rules.

TRIAL EMPLOYMENT. For twelve (12) months of employment following successful completion of the State of Wyoming Firefighter I curriculum, and assignment to the firefighter duties on shift, employment will continue on a trial (probationary) basis. The trial employment is not intended to extend beyond eighteen (18) months from the date of hire, however, the Fire Chief reserves the right to evaluate equivalency or reciprocity issues and/or extenuating circumstances and make adjustments to the trial period as necessary. Sworn fire personnel within the trial employment period may be laid off, disciplined or terminated at the sole discretion of the City.
TRIAL EMPLOYMENT. When an employee accepts City employment outside of the work covered by this Agreement and returns within six (6) months, their Union seniority shall be deemed continuous. If the employee returns after the end of six (6) months, his or her Union seniority shall start at the time he or she return to the Union position provided he or she satisfactorily completes the six (6) month consecutive and uninterrupted employment period following his or her return.

  • Initial Employment On recruitment of tradesmen whose regular residence* or place of recruitment, whichever is closer to the project, is between ninety-six (96) to one hundred and eighty-nine (189) road-driven kilometers from the project, the Employer shall pay $34.00 effective May 1, 2020 for the initial trip to the Project. *As defined in Section 1 above.

  • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.

  • Re-employment An employee who resigns her position and within sixty (60) days is re-employed, shall be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and shall retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and other fringe benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.

  • Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.

  • Other Employment Benefits During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to the following employment benefits:

  • Grantee Employment Nothing contained in this Agreement, and no action of the Company or the Committee with respect hereto, shall confer or be construed to confer on the Grantee any right to continue in the employ of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or interfere in any way with the right of the Company or any employing Subsidiary to terminate the Grantee's employment at any time, with or without cause; subject, however, to the provisions of any employment agreement between the Grantee and the Company or any Subsidiary.
