The closing date for such notice (posting) will be dependent on the required start date for the required Temporary Lead-Hand(s) established by mutual agreement by Union & Company. It is understood that in considering application for Lead persons, ability and experience shall be given substantially greater weight and in addition the qualities of leadership will be an important consideration. Seniority will be used when the above criteria have been met and there are more qualified applicants than needed. TEMPORARY LEAD-HANDS. The senior person appointed on service trucks, excluding the lamp truck, where there is normally no permanent lead hand assigned, shall receive a premium of 25% of the difference between 1st class line maintainer and the lead hand rate for all regular hours worked on projects that do not fall into the temporary lead hand criteria.   • Temporary Leave Teachers who are members of UTW, at the request of UTW, shall be granted leave to participate in certain UTW activities subject to and in accordance with policies of the Board and administrative guidelines.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.

  • Temporary Layoffs A. The Employer may initiate a temporary layoff for up to twelve (12) working days per fiscal year.   • Temporary Military Leave An employee who is a member of the reserve corps of the Armed Forces of the United States or of the National Guard or of the Naval Militia shall be granted a Temporary Military Leave while engaged in military duty ordered for the purposes of military training, drills, encampment, naval cruises, special exercises or like activity as such member providing that the period of ordered duty does not exceed one hundred eighty (180) calendar days including time involved in going to and returning from such duty.

  • Temporary Services The steamfitters shall not do any other work and shall not be permitted to work more than one shift in a twenty- four hour day. When steamfitters are present during the regular working day, no temporary services steamfitter will be required.   • Temporary The ECD for temporary employees is calculated by giving service credits for: • previous temporary employment, if there has been no break in service exceeding 3 months and employee has less than 12 months service; • previous temporary employment, if there has been no break in service exceeding 12 months and employee has greater than 12 months service. (The ECD has an impact on statutory holidays and floating holidays.)

  • Temporary Policies Registry Operator shall comply with and implement all specifications or policies established by the Board on a temporary basis, if adopted by the Board by a vote of at least two-­‐thirds of its members, so long as the Board reasonably determines that such modifications or amendments are justified and that immediate temporary establishment of a specification or policy on the subject is necessary to maintain the stability or security of Registry Services or the DNS (“Temporary Policies”).
