Temporary Leave means a brief absence with pay for not more than one day. In case of the funeral of a close relative, a temporary leave may however also comprise the necessary (however not exceeding two) travel days.

Said leave is to be used for military training, drills, special exercises, naval cruises and related activities. Compensation for leaves granted under this section shall be in accordance with California Military and Veterans Code.

Examples of Temporary Leave in a sentence

  • Up to five (5) days per occurrence may be used without loss of pay until accumulated Temporary Leave is exhausted.
