Temporary Upgrade. An employee in a temporary upgrade status shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such temporary upgrade status.
Temporary Upgrade. 1. The University may assign an employee to a position in a classification with a higher salary range for a period of fourteen (14) days or more.
Temporary Upgrade. When an employee is temporarily assigned to work in a classification higher than his/her regular classification for two hours or more, such employee shall be paid at the wage rate of the higher classification. Such employee shall be paid for the time worked in the higher classification at the highest wage rate of the following: (Amended 6-1-03)
Temporary Upgrade. 19.1 Temporary upgrading shall be defined as the temporary assignment of an employee to perform the work of a job class which is assigned to a salary schedule higher than his/her regular job class. Employees who are temporarily upgraded for two (2) consecutive hours or more and who are responsible for the full range of duties assigned to the higher level classification, shall receive a seven and one-half percent (7½%) pay differential or the minimum salary of the higher level classification (whichever is greater) for all time worked in the higher job classification.

A Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member who is assigned in writing to perform the duties of a higher classification for a specific period of time greater than forty consecutive working hours shall receive the classification increase for all hours worked in the higher classification, at their current step. At the end of the temporary upgrade the Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member will be returned to their original classification.
Temporary Upgrade. A non-exempt employee who is assigned the duties of a higher job classification by a supervisor or above, for a period exceeding 4 hours, shall be entitled to a 5% increase in compensation for all hours worked in this status. However, in no case will the increase in compensation exceed the maximum of the pay grade of the higher classification.
Temporary Upgrade. A. From time to time an AFSCME represented employee may receive a temporary assignment in which s/he is directed to perform the duties regularly assigned to a higher classification. Such assignments are made in writing by the employee’s supervisor or manager.
Temporary Upgrade. 6.1 The City of Lodi and the IBEW mutually agree that any Electric Utility Department employee temporarily assigned to a higher classification than their regular classification shall receive a 10% wage increase while in this status. However, in no event shall the upgrade pay per hour exceed the "E" step of the classification to which the employee is temporarily upgraded. This provision shall only apply when such time worked is more than four hours cumulative during an eight-hour period.
Temporary Upgrade a) An employee who is assigned to perform the work of another employee in a higher job grade for one (1) week or more shall be paid at the equivalent incremental step to his current job grade.
