SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR. In consideration of the payments hereinafter set forth, Contractor agrees to perform the services described in Exhibit A, attached hereto (the “Services”). All Services are to be performed and completed by June 30, 2020.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR. Contractor shall perform the services for the District as set forth in this Agreement and in the attached Exhibit A, which is fully incorporated into this Agreement by this reference (collectively “Services”), and in accordance with the terms and conditions in this Agreement. Contractor agrees to perform the Services consistent with the professional skill and care of Contractor’s profession and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. All of Contractor’s activities will be at its own risk and Contractor is hereby given notice of responsibility for arrangements to guard against physical, financial, and other risks as appropriate. Contractor assumes full responsibility for the acts or omissions of Contractor’s employees, agents, consultants, and subcontractors as they relate to this Agreement or the Services. The Parties agree that the Contractor will immediately remove any of Contractor’s employees, agents, consultants, or subcontractors from the District’s facilities upon the District’s instruction, as determined by the District in its sole discretion, for any or no reason. Contractor agrees to promptly provide a replacement employee, agent, consultant, or subcontractor acceptable to the District to perform the Services
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR. A. The Contractor shall furnish Internet auction services as more particularly provided for in this Agreement (the “Services”) for Tax Certificates for the Municipality.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR. Monitor legislation, amendments, and budget discussions relevant to Nueces County. • Monitoring of legislative policies, committee hearings, and assisting with execution of stakeholder engagement as agreed upon with Nueces County staff to assist with the advancing/defeating of policies desired by Nueces County. • Visit with lawmakers and Legislative leadership as needed regarding Nueces County priorities • Utilizing existing relationships with lawmakers and their staff, as well as state regulatory agencies to further the efforts of Nueces County • Attend stakeholder meetings essential to Nueces County either in Austin or throughout Texas as needed • Advise and assist with stakeholder and volunteer/community elected leader engagement as needed • Identify and provide Nueces County with legislative vote counts on key committee proposals as well as providing House/Senate floor strategy regarding legislation or budgetary issues • Provide guidance on defeating, supporting, or amending proposals as deemed necessary to preserve and protect the integrity of Nueces County • Provide daily updates to legislative champions and legislative leadership in coordination with Nueces County • Assist and advise Nueces County staff with preparing of committee testimony, preparing Commissioners or County staff, and consulting regarding strategic use of media/communication efforts • Assist preparing legislative champions with talking points, vote counts, and strategy in coordinating with Nueces County • Provide legislative briefings to Nueces County Commissioners Court or related county departments and elected officials regarding any legislation or action that affects their offices or operations • Notify Nueces County elected officials on legislation relevant to their office and, if approved by Commissioners Court, assist them with the legislative process • Tracking legislation regarding county government and directly impacting Nueces County in areas such as the following: o Economic Development o Port Authority o Texas Department of Transportation o Emergency Management o Water Distribution o American Relief Plan Funding • Assist with planning regarding the 87th Interim Sessions and 88th Regular Session by performing the following tasks: o Budget request submissions o Xxxx drafting o Legislative champion cultivation o Commissioners Court engagement o Regulatory outreach
