Salary on Transfer. Upon transfer to a position with the same range of pay, the Employee shall retain the rate of pay being received in the former position. The Employee's increment date shall not change.
Salary on Transfer. Where a demotion occurs, the salary will be adjusted to the lower level at the hourly rate closest to the hourly rate previously held.
Salary on Transfer. Where a demotion occurs, the salary will be adjusted to align to the grid of the lower classification. Placement on the lower salary structure will be at the step immediately higher than the current rate unless at maximum.
Salary on Transfer. A nurse who is transferred to a nurse position under another Appointing Authority shall receive the salary being paid before such transfer. In any case of transfer, no nurse shall receive a rate of pay below the minimum of the range for the class to which such nurse has been transferred.

An employee who is transferred from one position to another as described under Transfer shall be placed at the step in the salary range of the new class which equals the rate of pay received before the transfer. In the event that the steps in the range for the new class do not contain the same rates as the range for the old class, the employee shall be placed at the step of the new range which is next above the salary rate received in the old range; or if the new range does not contain a higher step, the employee shall be placed at the step which is next lower than the salary received in the old range. Whenever a permanent employee transfers to or from a deep class, as provided in the appropriate deep class resolutions, the salary of the employee shall be set as provided in the deep class resolutions at a step not to exceed a five percent (5%) increase in the employee's base salary. However, if the deep class transfer occurs to or from a deep class with specified levels identified for certain positions and their incumbents, the employee's salary in the new class shall be set in accordance with the section on Salary on Promotion if the employee is transferring to another class or to a level in a deep class for which the salary is at least five percent (5%) above the top base step of the deep class level or class in which they have status currently.
Salary on Transfer. A) When an employee is transferred, their hourly rate of pay and their increment date shall not be changed.

Salary on Transfer. An employee who is transferred from one position to another in a classification having the same salary range as the classification they formerly occupied shall be compensated at the same step in the salary range. The employee's merit review date shall not change.
Salary on Transfer. An employee who voluntarily decides to change positions which results in a transfer from a classification with a higher salary range to a classification with a lower salary range shall be assigned to the step in the salary range for the new (lower classification) position which is the closest to, but not less than, the employee’s salary range in the former (higher classification) position, not to exceed the maximum step for the new position. Voluntary changes in positions which result in a transfer from a class with a lower salary range to a classification with a higher salary range shall be governed by Section 6.8 (Salary on Promotion). The anniversary date for transferred employees shall change the effective date of the transfer. Future performance evaluations shall be based upon the employee’s new anniversary date.
