Subsequent Probationary Period Clause Samples

The Subsequent Probationary Period clause establishes a new trial period for an employee who has been transferred, promoted, or reassigned within the organization. Typically, this clause outlines the duration of the new probationary period and the criteria for evaluating the employee's performance in their new role. For example, if an employee moves from one department to another, they may be required to complete a fresh probationary period to ensure suitability for the new position. This clause helps employers assess the employee's fit and performance in a different capacity, providing a structured opportunity to confirm the appropriateness of the employment change and address any issues early on.
