Requirements to operational dredging. Operational dredging at the KHB facilities shall be performed with due regard to the operating conditions at the existing enterprise, and in compliance with the requirements of Compulsory Regulations of Kherson Sea Port. - Types of recommended dredging convoys, volumes of soil removal, transportation, and unloading to the underwater dump at the separate areas shall be established by the client's technical assignments, which shall be agreed upon with the contractor. - Soil removal from the bilge of any disposal barge to the place of soil dump shall be performed only via the bottom openings in the disposal barge. - Dredging vessels (except for crane boats with grab machines) and disposal barges, which are offered for the provision of operational dredging services, shall have the appropriate technical class by intended use (dredging, soil disposal), according to the effective classification certificates. - Before the start of dredging operations, the contractor may inspect the bottom of the dredging area, if necessary, on its own or involving a specialised organisation, in order to find any external items on the bottom, which would hinder operational dredging. The inspection results shall be documented in the Certificate in any format signed by the contractor's and the Client's representatives. The layout of underwater inspection of dredging areas shall be attached to the Certificate. - Before the Service Commencement Date the Contractor shall sign the Acceptance Certificate for the Dredging Area (Scope of Work), develop and agree with the Client a dredging process chart according to the requirements of RD 31.74.08-85; before the start of dredging operations the Contractor, if necessary, will inspect the bottom of the dredging area on its own or involving a specialised organisation, in order to discover any items in the bottom, which may hinder provision of the Services. The inspection results shall be documented in the Certificate in any format signed by the Contractor and the Client. The layout of underwater inspection of dredging areas shall be attached to the Certificate. - At the moment of drawing up the technical assignment for the Services, the water areas of the sea port where operational dredging is to be performed are not clogged.
