Procurement purpose. Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation Ltd., subsequently named NRK, invites you to participate in a restricted tender process and qualify for offering framework agreements for delivery of a Content Delivery Network (CDN) service and related services. With this service NRK want to offer our audience a higher quality of experience for consuming multimedia distributed over the open Internet. Subsequently this service is named “CDN”. NRK seeks CDN partners to help us provide a distribution portfolio which will cover near all live and on-demand delivery of multimedia content to our main audience in Norway. We also want a setup for serving Norwegians abroad with streaming when rights are acquired. Multimedia will be distributed over the Internet infrastructure to a multi-platform end-user scenario primarily web-TV but also to a certain extent mobile phone services, gaming consoles and other connected devices. NRK will seek to utilize more than one supplier in a multi-CDN setup. Services that will use the CDN are NRKs web-TV consisting of a large catalogue of popular TV programs on-demand and short clips. In addition NRKs streaming of live channels NRK1, NRK2 ,NRK3/SUPER and event generated live streams in addition NRKs radio services. The solution need to be “future-proof” with the ability cost effective easily adoption to new platforms and devices, new user habits and new ways to present this type of content. NRK is standardizing on the h.264 codec for multiplatform deliverance and supplier must support deliverance in this format in addition to upcoming h.265 and other marked leading formats. NRK experienced a peek Play out of approximately 130 gigabits per second, 150 000 simultaneous user connections. Minimum requirements for future suppliers are expected to surpass this. The supplier must be able to deliver support, technical insight, streaming, storage, and related services . Specific details of requirements will be given in the Tender documents to those who qualify for participation. NRK will only accept applications from suppliers that are qualified to; plan, install, test and deliver a complete solution, with all components and equipment.

Procurement purpose. The State is seeking to award up to $1,500,000.00 in grant funds to a qualified grantee, who will be responsible for leading significant stakeholder engagement and professional development activities related to school funding, education finance, school budgeting, and the BEP in each of the eight (8) Center of Regional Excellence (“CORE”) regions in Tennessee. Procurement purpose. The purpose of this contract is to identify a provider who can help NRK to improve the end user’s experience with our online services and device-apps. We are looking for a tool that gives us a complete, real-time overview of the interaction between all kinds of user devices, browsers and our online services. The aim is to monitor all NRK online services within one tool. The tool must be a SaaS solution with a web-based GUI that supports all common browsers. It is important for NRK to be able to monitor our applications for errors and performance problems continuously, both in the infrastructure and in the end-user experience. It must be fast and easy to drill down and identify the root cause of a problem. It is of great importance that the tool provides useful information for developers as much as for systems operations and the system owner. We consider it an advantage if the tool is able to capture performance of various web/app components, both those developed in-house and by third parties. NRK needs to monitor and store changes and events from our systems in order to get historical data in easily accessible and easy-to-locate logs and graphic views. It must be easy to analyze how situations evolve over time in order to pinpoint important actions for preventing errors from occurring in the future. We will consider it an advantage if the tool also indicates where and how we can optimize our systems and applications. The following services will be monitored: XXX.xx and related online services. For these services we have approximately 100 servers (front and backend), and some are located in Azure. Our online service also includes streaming of our TV and radio content to multiple devices. We deliver live and on-demand streams through CDNs, in multiple bitrates and formats. The possibility to monitor the quality of these streams will also be of interest and will be handled as an option. Some of our online services have traffic peaks at various intervals. Sometimes we need to expand the number of servers handling a service to meet the increased traffic load. We consider it an advantage that a monitoring tool handles these changes in an economical and easy-to- manage manner. NRK uses different platforms, for example: Microsoft Server (2003 - 20xx) and Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Centos, Redhat), mostly on a virtual platform (VMware), and some physical servers.
