INTENT & PURPOSE. It is the intent and purpose of the Board of Trustees that this Agreement set forth herein a basic policy covering certain bargaining rights between the Board of Trustees and the Service Employees International Union, Local 1, Firemen and Oilers Division as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent. All work assigned to employees of the College that has traditionally and historically been performed by the bargaining unit shall continue to be performed by the bargaining unit, as shall any new similar work assigned to any employee of the College.
