Preliminary Project Plan Clause Samples
The Preliminary Project Plan clause outlines the initial framework and objectives for a project at the outset of an agreement. It typically details the project's scope, key milestones, deliverables, and timelines, serving as a reference point for both parties as the project progresses. By establishing clear expectations and a shared understanding from the beginning, this clause helps prevent misunderstandings and provides a basis for measuring progress and managing changes during the project lifecycle.
Preliminary Project Plan. A. The preliminary project plan shall be professionally prepared and shall include the following:
1. The property boundaries of the proposed parking area. Include approximate total acreage of the property and the parking area to be developed, if different;
2. The names of the owner, developer, if other than the owner, and the engineer or designer of the parking area improvements;
3. Boundaries of adjacent properties and names of adjacent property owners;
4. Location, width and names of existing streets within three hundred feet (300') of the parking area and of all previously platted streets or other public ways, railroad and utilities rights of way, parks and other public open space;
5. Location of all existing buildings and structures on the site, including an indication of the proposed uses;
6. The location of all parking spaces, driveways, and points of vehicular ingress and egress;
7. A contour map showing existing topography and natural drainage channels and the proposed conceptual storm and surface water drainage system;
8. A conceptual landscaping plan complying with the landscaping chapter of the zoning ordinance (10-15) and the landscaping requirements below. Show planting materials to be used together with the location of fences, walls, trees, ▇▇▇▇▇▇, and decorative materials, etc.;
Preliminary Project Plan. Contractor will provide a Preliminary Project Plan with the proposal for individual SOW’s for evaluation purposes, including necessary time frames and deliverables for the various stages of the project and the responsibilities and obligations of both the Contractor and the State.
1. In particular, the Preliminary Project Plan will include a MS Project plan or equivalent (check the SUITE/PMM standard):
a. A description of the deliverables to be provided under this contract.
b. Target dates and critical paths for the deliverables.
c. Identification of roles and responsibilities, including the organization responsible. Contractor is to provide a roles and responsibility matrix.
d. The labor, hardware, materials and supplies required to be provided by the State in meeting the target dates established in the Preliminary Project Plan.
e. Internal milestones
f. Task durations
2. The Preliminary Project Plan shall include the following deliverable/milestones for which payment shall be made.
a. Payment to the Contractor will be made upon the completion and acceptance of the deliverable or milestone, not to exceed contractual costs of the phase. A milestone is defined as complete when all of the deliverables within the milestone have been completed.
b. Failure to provide deliverable/milestone by the identified date may be subject to liquidated damages as identified in Article 2. Note: A Final Project Plan will be required as stated in Schedule A, Section 1.301 (C) Project Control.
Preliminary Project Plan. Shows location of existing properties to be included in the Project and potential location of various Project elements. Also shows Potential Development Area within which Supplemental Parcels may be voluntarily acquired. Exhibit 2. Support Agreement. Agreement between City and Authority where City agrees to provide Authority with sufficient funds to satisfy its obligations under the Development Agreement.
Preliminary Project Plan. The Bidder must prepare a Preliminary Project Plan describing, among other things, the methods and human and material resources that the Bidder proposes to employ in the design, management, coordination, and execution of all its responsibilities, if awarded the Contract, as well as the estimated duration and completion date for each major activity. The Preliminary Project Plan must also address the topics and points of emphasis specified in [ state: “SCC Clause 19” including any additional items stated in the Bid Data Sheet for ITB Clause 16.2 (c) (ITB Clause 14.2 (c) in the two-stage SBD) ]. The Preliminary Project Plan should also state the Bidder’s assessment of the major responsibilities of the Procuring Entity and any other involved third parties in System supply and installation, as well as the Bidder’s proposed means for coordinating activities by each of the involved parties to avoid delays or interference.
Preliminary Project Plan. EXHIBIT 2 SUPPORT AGREEMENT THIS SUPPORT AGREEMENT (this “Support Agreement”) is entered into as of the day of , 20 , by and between the CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH, a municipal corporation of the Commonwealth of Virginia (the “City”) and the CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia (the “Authority”).
Preliminary Project Plan. The Bidder MUST include in its bid a Preliminary Project Plan describing, among other things, the methods and human and material resources that the Bidder proposes to employ in the design, management, coordination, and execution of all its responsibilities if awarded the Contract, as well as the estimated duration and completion date for each major activity. The Preliminary Project Plan MUST include a detailed description of the Bidder’s staff (i.e. the “Team”) that would perform the configuration, testing and deployment of the System. Such description MUST include the Team’s organization chart and the CVs of each of the Team members. If the Bidder plans to utilize one or more subcontractors, the bid MUST also include the CVs of the subcontractor’s staff that would be part of the above Team and/or would provide the Technical Support service after the System’s acceptance by the Purchasers. The Preliminary Project Plan MUST also state the Bidder’s assessment of the major responsibilities of the Purchasers and any other involved third parties in System supply and installation, as well as the Bidder’s proposed means for coordinating activities by each of the involved parties to avoid delays or interference.
