Paid Leave Accrual. An Employee shall earn Sick Leave and Vacation Leave benefits during any full bi-weekly pay period in which the Employee receives Workers’ Comp/SDI benefits and is on Payroll Status. Furthermore, an Employee shall receive service credit for seniority and merit step increases during such a period, as long as the Employee is in a Payroll Status with the City, as provided in Article XX.

Paid Leave Accrual. All probationary and regular employees with up to and including three thousand (3,000) hours worked shall earn paid leave at the rate of one (1) hour of paid time off for every forty (40) hours actually worked. Employees with three thousand and one (3,001) or more hours worked and under twenty thousand and one (20,001) hours worked shall earn paid leave at the rate of two (2) hours of paid time off for every forty (40) hours worked. Employees with twenty thousand and one (20,001) or more hours worked shall earn paid leave at the rate of two and one half (2.5) hours of paid time off for every forty (40) hours worked. Paid Time Off (PTO) does not accrue during any period of paid or unpaid leave.
Paid Leave Accrual. Employees will receive the same vacation, sick leave, personal leave, and management leave accruals they would have received absent the work furlough.
Paid Leave Accrual. Employees may accrue no more than 30 PLDs at any given time. As of each July 1 hereunder, PLDs in excess of 24 days shall be transferred to employees’ individual medical leave banks (subject to the medical leave bank maximum set forth in Section 2 of Article XV hereof).   • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Leave Accruals Accumulated annual leave, personal leave, and sick leave balances will automatically be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. The employee will not accrue leave credits during the leave of absence.
