Leave Bank The Employer agrees to begin exploration of creating and maintaining an account or mechanism to permit donation of Paid Time Off hours from members of the bargaining unit to bargaining unit employees who are on family or medical leave and who have exhausted or are projected to exhaust their accrued leave before they are able to return to work.
Sick Leave Bank 22.1 The purpose of this Sick Leave Bank is to provide a bank of sick leave hours from which a member may draw in case of extended absences due to illness/disability which renders the member incapable of working.
Reserve Banks as Agent For each Certificate, the appropriate Reserve Bank shall be considered to be acting as the agent of Xxxxxx Mae in providing to and conferring upon the owners of the Certificates, as such owners shall appear on the records of such Reserve Bank, the substantive rights and benefits which are provided for herein for Holders of such Certificates. Accordingly, the substantive effect of all provisions herein providing rights and benefits to Holders of such Certificates, including, without limitation, provisions relating to distributions, voting and notices, shall apply to such record owners on the books of the Reserve Bank, through the appropriate Reserve Bank acting as agent for Xxxxxx Xxx.
Sick Leave Bank Committee The Committee shall be appointed by the BTU-ESP for the purpose of administering the Sick Leave Bank. The Committee shall:
Catastrophic Leave Bank The City agrees to establish a Catastrophic Leave Bank to assist employees who have exhausted accrued leave time due to a serious or catastrophic illness or injury. The Catastrophic Leave Bank (CLB) will allow the bargaining unit employees to donate time to affected employees within and outside the unit, so that he/she can remain in a paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury or condition. This donated time will be placed in a CLB and drawn down from the CLB by the eligible employee. Eligibility To be eligible for this benefit, the receiving employee must: 1) Be a regular full time employee, 2) Have sustained or have an immediate family member who has sustained a life threatening or debilitating illness, injury or condition which may require confirmation by a physician, 3) Have exhausted all accumulated paid leave including vacation, holiday, sick leave, and/or compensatory time off, 4) Be unable to return to work for at least 30 days or in the case of the condition affecting the immediate family member, that member must be in need of prolonged and significant personal care; and 5) Conformed with the requirements of the Family Medical Leave Act and/or Worker's Compensation.
Banks The Agent may treat each Bank as a Bank, entitled to payments under this Agreement and as acting through its Facility Office(s) until it has received notice from the Bank to the contrary by not less than five Business Days prior to the relevant payment.
Credit Checks 9.1 The Customer agrees that:
Credit Check You are authorized, in your discretion, should you for any reason deem it necessary for your protection to request and obtain a consumer credit report for the Customer.
Branches of U.S. Banks (a) Except as otherwise set forth in this Contract, the provisions hereof shall not apply where the custody of the Portfolios assets are maintained in a foreign branch of a banking institution which is a "bank" as defined by Section 2(a)(5) of the Investment Company Act of 1940 meeting the qualification set forth in Section 26(a) of said Act. The appointment of any such branch as a sub-custodian shall be governed by paragraph 1 of this Contract.
FDIC Open-Bank Assistance All obligations under this Agreement shall terminate, except to the extent determined that continuation of the contract is necessary for the continued operation of the Bank, when the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation enters into an agreement to provide assistance to or on behalf of the Bank under the authority contained in Federal Deposit Insurance Act section 13(c). 12 U.S.C. 1823(c). Rights of the parties that have already vested shall not be affected by such action, however.
