Multi-Year Contract. A) After an administrator has two full years (24 months) of service in the District as an administrator, the Board will employ the administrator on a two-year contract. The Board, through the Superintendent, will provide notice to each such administrator on or before January 15 of the last year of his/her administrative contract of its intent to renew the contract for an additional two year period. Absent timely notice of non-renewal the Board will offer the Administrator a successor two year contract.
B) In the event that the administrator is on probation at the time of contract renewal, the decision for renewal will be deferred until conclusion of the probationary period.
C) Section 4.5(A) of this Agreement does not in any way limit the Board’s authority to dismiss an administrator during the term of his/her contract for just and sufficient cause. When the cause is failure of the administrator to perform satisfactorily his/her duties, the Board will allow the administrator a probationary period of not less than two months to remedy his/her performance.
Multi-Year Contract. It is understood and agreed between the parties to this agreement that this contract shall be multi-year in nature and is designed to cover the labor and management understanding for all employees covered by this contract for four (4) years except that the provisions hereinafter detailed shall automatically change effective January 1 of the year of the contract term involved providing that in the legislation is required the effectiveness of the provisions shall be postponed until said legislation is adopted but shall be retroactive in any event until January 1 of the year involved.
Multi-Year Contract. Benefits of employment established by this Memorandum of Understanding shall conform at all times to the requirements of Charter section A8.404. The parties agree to meet and confer if and when necessary to meet the above requirement.

Multi-Year Contract. The obligations of the City as to any funding required pursuant to this Contract shall be limited to an obligation in any given year to budget and appropriate from legally available funds, after monies for essential City services have been budgeted and appropriated, sufficient monies for the funding that is required during that year. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the City shall not be prohibited from pledging any legally available non-ad valorem revenues for any obligations heretofore or hereafter incurred, which pledge shall be prior and superior to any obligation of the City pursuant to this Contract.
Multi-Year Contract. With proper certification/licensure and after five (5) years of successful teaching in the District, a teacher may request and may be granted a multi-year contract if the following is met:
1. Request must be in writing to building principal by November 1 in last year of limited contract.
2. Previous and present observations/evaluations are satisfactory.
3. Recommendation from present building principal. If granted, the initial multi-year contract will be two (2) years in length. Additional multi-year contracts may be up to three (3) years in length if approved.
4. By November 1 in the last year of a multi-year contract, teachers must reapply in writing to the building principal for another multi-year contract.
