Examples of Date of Termination in a sentence
A Notice of Termination submitted by the Company may provide for a Date of Termination on the date Executive receives the Notice of Termination, or any date thereafter elected by the Company.
Notwithstanding this Section 3(d)(i), you will be treated as having terminated Employment pursuant to Section 3(a) hereof (Termination of Employment – General) if, at any time prior to the first Scheduled Vesting Date immediately following your Date of Termination, the Corporation determines in its sole discretion that applying this Section 3(d)(i) in a particular case (or cases) is not advisable or appropriate or consistent with the intent of this Section 3(d)(i).
If, prior to the Scheduled Vesting Date, you cease to be Employed for any reason, then except as otherwise provided in Section 2(c) (Certain Terminations), the PSUs shall immediately be forfeited for no consideration as of the Date of Termination.
Without limiting the generality of Section 2(b), and notwithstanding any other provision of this Section 2(c), if you cease to be Employed for any reason in connection with or following the occurrence of an event that constitutes Cause, then the PSUs and any other awards you hold under the Plan shall immediately be forfeited for no consideration as of the Date of Termination.
In the event of the ending of your employment for any reason, the Company shall pay you (i) your Base Salary and, if applicable, any accrued but unused vacation, through the Date of Termination, and (ii) the amount of any documented expenses properly incurred by you on behalf of the Company prior to any such termination and not yet reimbursed (the “Accrued Obligations”).
