Lieu Time Bank. During the calendar year employees will be allowed to bank in their lieu time bank all eligible time in lieu pursuant to the collective agreement (overtime, statutory holiday worked at 1 .5 time, Sunday premium time, meeting and training time outside regular working hours or general or designated holiday lieu days). At the end of each calendar year, employees will be entitled to carry-over up to two hundred and fifty ( 250) hours into the next calendar year.

Lieu Time Bank. ( 5)1 .1 During the calendar year employees will be allowed to bank in their lieu time bank all eligible time in lieu pursuant to the collective agreement ( overtime, statutory holiday worked at 1 .5 time, Sunday premium time, meeting and training time outside regular working hours or general or designated holiday lieu days). At the end of each calendar year, employees will be entitled to carry-over up to two hundred (200) hours into the next calendar year. Employees who exceed the maximum allowable carry-over of 200 hours on December 31 will have the excess hours paid out automatically in February the following year, subject to the exception outlined in (4)9.6.
Lieu Time Bank. Excess hours worked or earned through overtime or statutory holidays, or as a result of a short-term schedule change as per 16.02, at the employee’s option, may be taken as time off at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) or straight time as applicable, or cash paid out in the next pay period. Banked time off must be taken during each fiscal year (currently May to April each year) and will be scheduled off with the approval of the Manager. Banked lieu time remaining at the end of March each fiscal year that has not been scheduled as time off shall be paid out at the end of April for each fiscal year at the employees current rate. Once time off from one fiscal year is scheduled to be taken in the following fiscal year, it cannot be converted back to the lieu time bank or paid out.

An employee may accumulate a maximum of tw o hundred and fifty (250) hours of lieu t ime credits at any t ime. Any lieu t ime credits over the tw o hundred and fifty (250) hours balance w ill be paid out in cash or, for employees w ho w ere members of the bargaining unit as of August 25, 2011 and w ho remained members ever since, placed into their ret irement leave bank provided they do not exceed the retirement cap of 2080 hours. Only w hen an employee has reduced their lieu t ime bank to less than tw o hundred and fifty (250) w ill the employee be allow ed to earn additional lieu t ime credits up to the tw o hundred and fifty (250) hour maximum.

  • Leave Bank The Employer agrees to begin exploration of creating and maintaining an account or mechanism to permit donation of Paid Time Off hours from members of the bargaining unit to bargaining unit employees who are on family or medical leave and who have exhausted or are projected to exhaust their accrued leave before they are able to return to work.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

  • Overtime Lieu Time Where an employee has worked an accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where the applicable rate I time and one-half, then time off shall be at one and one-half times. Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two pay periods of the occurrence of the overtime at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.

  • Lunch Time The “duty free” lunch time for assistants will be the same length as the building lunch time for students provided that the lunch is no less than thirty (30) minutes in length.
