LEAVES OF ABSENCE FOR UNION ACTIVITIES Clause Samples

The "Leaves of Absence for Union Activities" clause allows employees to take time off from work to participate in union-related events or duties without jeopardizing their employment status. Typically, this clause outlines the process for requesting such leave, any notice requirements, and whether the leave is paid or unpaid. For example, an employee may be granted leave to attend union meetings, training sessions, or represent the union in negotiations.
