INJURY ON JOB. Where an employee is injured on the job there shall be no deduction from the employee’s basic straight time pay for the day in which the employee was in­ jured and reported for medical care.

INJURY ON JOB. Whenever an employee is absent from employment and unable to perform duties as a result of personal injury sustained in the course of employment, said employee shall be entitled to use accumulated leave. In the event the employee acquires Industrial Insurance Benefits in the form of time-loss payments, the employee shall endorse the check to the District for credit against his/her annual leave.
INJURY ON JOB. Whenever an employee is absent from employment and unable to perform duties as a result of personal injury sustained in the course of employment, said employee shall be entitled to use accumulated leave. In the event the employee acquires Industrial Insurance Benefits in the form of time-loss payments, the employee shall be entitled to annual leave on a pro-rated basis so that the employee receives pay in an amount not to exceed the employee’s daily rate of pay. If the State grants pay in an amount that would result in more than the employee’s regular rate of pay being received, the employee shall endorse the check to the District for credit against his/her annual leave. If an on-the-job injury is the result of an assault by a student or parent, the employee shall be entitled to have credited back to their leave balance up to three (3) days of annual leave upon approval of an L&I claim for the injury.
INJURY ON JOB. 39.01 Any employee injured on the job and unable to continue his normal duty for that day shall be paid for the balance of the shift in which the injury occurred.
INJURY ON JOB. Whenever a teacher is absent from his/her employment and unable to perform his/her duties as a result of personal injury caused by an accident and/or assault occurring in the course of his/her employment and receives Workmen’s' Compensation payments for such absence, he/she will be paid his/her full salary up to, if necessary, a three (3) month period (less the amount of any Workmen’s' Compensation payments made in lieu of salary due to said injury.) Monetary awards over and above salary remain the teacher’s. The School District shall be reimbursed from the teacher's Workmen’s' Compensation award. The teacher will not be required to use his/her sick leave for this purpose. However, the school district shall charge to the employee's sick leave any such time taken for which s/he opts to receive his/her regular salary rather than receive Workmen’s' Compensation benefits. The exception to the prior sentence shall be that a unit member, whose absence due to legitimate work related injury fails to meet the Workmen's Compensation 7-day waiting period, shall nevertheless receive regular salary without loss of sick time.
