Health and Safety Act. The parties acknowledge the application of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Health and Safety Act. 10.2 The Company and the Union agree the practice of safe working habits is the responsibility of each employee. The employees will comply with all Company Health and Safety requirements as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Company recognizes an employee’s right to refuse work as prescribed therein.
Health and Safety Act. Its function is to identify situations that may be a source of danger or hazard to Employees and to make recommendations to the Employer and the Employees for the improvement of the health and safety of workers.
Health and Safety Act. (c) A worker who is a member of a Committee is entitled to take the necessary time off from work to attend meetings of the Committee, to take training prescribed by the regulations and to carry out the worker’s usual salary and benefits without change.
