H - PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 The designation of paid holidays under Article 15.01 is as follows: New Year's Day Family Day (Third Monday in February) Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day Canada Day (July 1) Civic Holiday Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Remembrance Day Christmas Day Boxing Day Where a nurse is entitled to a lieu day as set out under Article 15.04 and 15.05, such days shall be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time within thirty (30) days prior to the holiday and thirty (30) days after the holiday or payment shall be made in accordance with Article 15.03.

Where the full-time nurses on a department have a master schedule that includes a "xxxxxx week", the full-time nurse may take three (3) stat/lieu days at any time during the year at a mutually agreeable time provided the stat/lieu day has been earned in accordance with Article 15. Where a full-time employee is entitled to a lieu day under Article 15.04 or 15.05, such day may be taken within ninety (90) days of the holiday at a mutually agreeable time. If the lieu day is not taken within the ninety (90) days, payment shall be made in accordance with Article 15.03.

Lieu will be utilized in the order of accumulation, A tour that begins or ends during the (24) hour period of the paid holiday where the majority of hours worked falls within the holiday shall be deemed to be work performed on the holidayfor the full period of the tour. The Hospital will endeavour to share time off on paid holidays equally among full- time (Full-Time) A request for lieu days off must be requested in writing at least two (2) weeks in advance of the requested time off, except in unusual circumstances. The Hospital will respond in writing no later than five (5)days after submission of the request. If a part-time is scheduled to work the weekend of a paid holiday, the Hospital shall endeavour to schedule her or him to the paid holiday.

H-1 Full-time and Part-time The following days shall be recognized as paid holidays: New Year's Day Civic Holiday Second Monday in February Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Second Monday in November Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day/July 1 Boxing Day The Employer shall only be required to pay the premium rate for July 1.
H - PAID HOLIDAYS d-l In reference to Article the twelve Paid Holidays are as follows: New Year% Day Civic Day Second Monday in February Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Remembrance Day Second Sunday in June Christmas Day Canada Day July 1 Boxing Day If Heritage Day is proclaimed as a holiday, it will replace the second Monday in February. For the purposes of this Article, a paid holiday shall commence at hours on the day prior to the day on which the paid holiday is and premium time shall be paid for work performed on such tour. Normal wage shall be paid in respect to the tour which commences at hours on the day on which the paid holiday is If any of the above holidays is proclaimed on a day other than the traditional calendar day, the proclaimed day shall be substituted for the traditional calendar day. In reference to Article a lieu day off shall be scheduled within thirty days prior to or succeeding such paid holiday at a time mutually agreed upon and/or the nurse may bank up to five lieu days to be used for personal emergencies between January and December of each year. Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day may not be banked. In order to use the above options the nurse must: Request the lieu day for a specific time or give notice to bank the lieu day two weeks prior to the posting of the schedule: If no request is received under (a), the Hospital may schedule the lieu day.
