Employment; Employment Term. Upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the Company hereby agrees to retain the services of Executive and Executive hereby accepts such employment and agrees to faithfully and diligently serve as directed by the Company in accordance with this Agreement, commencing on the Effective Date and continuing until terminated pursuant to Section 6 of this Agreement (the “Employment Term”).
Employment; Employment Term. The Company agrees to continue to employ the Executive as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and any successor thereto, and the Executive agrees to continue to be employed by the Company, subject to the terms and provisions of this Agreement. The term of employment under this Agreement shall expire on December 29, 2016 (the “Term”); provided that the term of this Agreement may be extended by mutual written agreement between the Executive and the Company. If the Parties agree to any such extension, the Parties shall specify the terms and conditions of the Executive’s continuing employment, and the provisions of this Agreement that applied during the Continued Term shall not apply during any extension period except as explicitly provided under this Agreement or by the Parties in connection with the extension.
Employment; Employment Term. Employment; Employment Term. 1.1 Employer agrees to employ Executive, and Executive agrees to be employed by Employer, as Employer's President and Chief Operating Officer, for a term commencing on the Effective Date and continuing until December 31, 2005, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the provisions of Section 4 hereof (the "Employment Term"). Executive's primary duties and responsibilities hereunder shall be to manage, administer and direct, subject to the supervision and direction of Employer's Board of Directors, the business and operations of Employer as well as such other duties and responsibilities as may be prescribed from time to time by Employer's Board of Directors. Executive agrees to perform such duties and to satisfy such responsibilities throughout the Employment Term.
Employment; Employment Term. The Company hereby agrees to continue Employee in its employ, and Employee agrees to remain in the employ of the Company effective as of the date hereof. Effective May 31, 2000, Employee shall resign as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, including any position with any committee thereof, and shall relinquish the titles and offices of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President of the Company and as President and Chief Executive Officer of DDD Energy, along with any and all other positions with the Company (except as otherwise provided in this Paragraph 2), DDD Energy and any related entities and shall continue to be employed as Counselor to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company for the Employment Term (as defined below) with such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to Employee from time to time by Paul Frame. The term of employmexx xxxxx xhis Agreement shall commence upon the date hereof and shall expire on the close of business on May 31, 2004, unless, in either case, employment is sooner terminated under Paragraph 11 ("Employment Term"). The employment of Employee shall be subject to the other terms and conditions of this Agreement.

The Company hereby continues to employ the Employee, and the Employee hereby accepts continued employment by the Company upon the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. The Employee agrees to devote his full business time, energy, skills and best efforts to such employment. The Employee shall not, directly or indirectly, alone or as a member of a partnership, or as an officer, director, employee or agent of any other person, firm or business organization engage in any other business activities or pursuits requiring his personal service that materially conflict with his duties hereunder or the diligent performance of such duties. The Employment Term shall expire on May 1, 2000 or the date of an Initial Public Offering "IPO"), whichever occurs first. Notwithstanding the above, the Parties agree that the Company may terminate Employee's employment prior to expiration of the Employment Term, for any reason, or no reason, with or without cause, upon written notice to the Employee.

V.P.), for a term commencing on the Effective Date and continuing for a term of three (3) years, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the provisions of Section 4 hereof (the "Employment Term"). Executive's primary duties and responsibilities as CFO and Financial V.P. hereunder shall be to manage and administer the financial matters of the Company, and as Exec. V.P to be responsible for contract management, negotiation and administration, all subject to the supervision and direction of Employer's Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer and President and Co-Chief Executive Officer (collectively the Co-CEOs). Executive agrees to perform such duties and to satisfy such responsibilities throughout the Employment Term.
Employment; Employment Term. The Company hereby agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to continue his employment with the Company effective as of the date hereof. Executive shall be Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with such duties and responsibilities as are usually incident to the offices of such positions and such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to Executive from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The initial term of employment under this Agreement shall commence upon the date hereof and shall expire on December 31, 2006. If, however, neither the Executive nor the Company provides written notice to the other before October 1, 2002, the term shall be automatically extended through December 31, 2007. Furthermore, unless one party provides written notice to the other before October 1, 2003, the term shall be automatically extended through December 31, 2008, and, unless one party provides another notice to the other before October 1, 2004, then the term shall be automatically extended through December 31, 2009. The term shall not extend past December 31, 2009 without the written agreement of the Executive and the Company. The end of the term of this Agreement is hereafter referred to as the "Termination Date," and the term of this Agreement is hereafter referred to as the "Employment Period." The employment of Executive shall be subject to the other terms and conditions of this Agreement. Executive agrees to devote his full time, attention and energies to, and use his best efforts, ability and fidelity in the performance of the duties attaching to such employment; provided, however, that it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for Executive to serve on the boards of directors of such proprietary or not for profit organizations as are approved by the Company's Chief Executive Officer. Executive shall perform his duties at the principal executive offices of the Company and/or Seitel Solutions, subject to reasonable travel in the course of carrying out his responsibilities under this Agreement. 2.
Employment; Employment Term. Company hereby agrees to employ Employee and Employee agrees to become an employee of the Company as of the date hereof. Employee shall be an executive of the Company with the title of Executive Vice President with such duties and responsibilities relating to the Company as may be assigned to Employee from time to time by the Board of Directors of the Company or the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. Employee shall report to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. The 2 term of employment under this Agreement shall begin on the date hereof and shall continue thereafter until the earliest of (i) the close of business until the day after the Company's 1998 annual meeting of stockholders or (ii) termination of employment under Paragraph 13 ("Employment Term"). The employment of Employee shall be subject to the other terms and conditions of this Agreement. Employee agrees to devote his full time, attention and energies to, and use his best efforts, ability and fidelity in the performance of the duties attaching to such employment. The Company is aware that Employee has certain obligations in respect of a prior employer to provide consulting service during calendar year 1997 and Employee and the Company agree to work together in good faith to accommodate Employee's required performance of such consulting services.
