Initial Term of Employment definition

Initial Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2 hereof.
Initial Term of Employment is as defined in Section 4.
Initial Term of Employment means the term beginning with the Start Date and ending with the End Date.

Examples of Initial Term of Employment in a sentence

  • The Initial Term of Employment and any extension of the Initial Term of Employment hereunder shall each be referred to herein as a “Term of Employment.” The Term of Employment shall also be extended upon a Change in Control as provided in Section 7, but shall not thereafter be extended under this Section 4.

  • This Agreement will be automatically renewed for successive one (1) year terms (each, a “Renewal Term”) unless either the Employer or the Executive sends written notice of termination to the other Party not less than sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the Initial Term of Employment or any Renewal Term.

  • The term of employment (the "Term) under this Agreement shall be deemed to commence as of the date hereof (the "Commencement Date") and, unless terminated earlier pursuant to the terms hereof, shall terminate on February 28, 2003 (the "Initial Term of Employment").

  • Thereafter, the Initial Term of Employment shall be automatically extended repetitively for one-year period(s) unless written notice is given by either the Company or Executive to the other Party at least 60 days prior to the end of the Initial Term of Employment, or any one-year extension thereof, as applicable, that the term of employment will not be renewed (such notice, a “Notice of Non-Renewal”).

  • Executive's initial term of employment with the Company under this Agreement shall be for the period from the Effective Date through December 31, 2006 (the "Initial Term of Employment").

Related to Initial Term of Employment

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2 below.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Employment Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.

  • Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.

  • Severance Term means the six (6) month period following Employee’s termination by the Company without Just Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Employee for Good Reason; provided, that if such termination occurs within twelve (12) months following a Change in Control, the Severance Term shall be the twelve (12) month period following such termination.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Year of Employment means a period of service of 12 months.

  • Date of Employment means the first day an Employee performs an Hour of Service.

  • Consulting Period has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 14(f) hereof.

  • Scope of employment means performance by an employee acting in good faith within the duties of the employee’s office or employment or of tasks lawfully assigned by a competent authority including the operation or use of an agency vehicle or equipment with actual or implied consent of the supervisor of the employee, but shall not include corruption or fraud;

  • employment zone means an area within Great Britain designated for the purposes of section 60 of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 and an “employment zone programme” means a programme established for such an area or areas designed to assist claimants for a jobseeker’s allowance to obtain sustainable employment;

  • Post-Employment Period shall have the meaning set forth in Article 8.

  • Agreement Term has the meaning set forth in Section 11.1.

  • Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.

  • Fixed-term employment means the engagement of an employee on the basis of a written contract of employment for a fixed period:

  • Involuntary Termination of Employment means any termination of Executive's employment by the Company and its subsidiaries, other than a termination for Cause or due to death or Disability.

  • Length of Employment means the period of time since an employee last became a full-time or part-time employee in a permanent or term position for purposes of calculating all entitlements pursuant to this Agreement including, but not limited to, vacation, bonus vacation and pre-retirement leave and “Length of Service” shall have a similar meaning. Conversion from full-time or part-time status to casual status shall be considered a break in service and no period of casual employment or prior full-time or part-time employment in a permanent or term position shall be included in an employee’s length of employment or length of service even when a casual employee subsequently becomes a full-time or part-time employee.

  • contract of employment means a contract of service or apprenticeship, whether express or implied, and (if it is express) whether oral or in writing;

  • Service & Term XOOM Energy Ohio, LLC (“XOOM” or “Company”) agrees to act as your exclusive natural gas supplier and will provide competitive retail natural gas service to you. The Term of this Agreement will begin on the next available meter read date after processing of the request by XOOM and your gas utility, and will continue for the Contract Term as set forth in the accompanying Contract Summary, which is incorporated into this Agreement. Acceptance into the Program:These terms and conditions are subject to your acceptance into the program by both XOOM and your local utility. You will be promptly notified if you are not accepted into the program. Switching fees may apply to you under your local utility’s tariff if you are accepted into the program by both XOOM and your local utility.

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.
