Drug and Alcohol Services. Assessment & Care Management - £ 416,980 To undertake the assessment of clients needs against the Essex County Council service eligibility criteria for new clients and provide ongoing care management and service reviews for clients in the District Council areas of Chelmsford, Maldon, Braintree, Colchester, Tendring, Epping Forest, Harlow and Uttlesford. In setting the 2009/10 level of funding associated with the delivery of these activities the following factors have been taken into account;  A staffing level that provides for 10.16 full time equivalent staffing of:- F.T.E. Team Managers 1.00 Senior Practitioners 2.00 Social Workers 5.66 Assistant Social Workers / Community Support Workers 1.00 Clerical and Administrative staff 0.50  In previous years this funding has allowed for 14.16 FTE staff. During 2005/06 the Arrest Referral Officer Posts were removed from this agreement and are now funded separately.  Funding in respect of the above posts is based upon the middle salary point of the pay range and an allowance for staff vacancies.  A pay increase of 2% from April 2009 (pay award pending).  Mileage and travel allowances.  Provision of £XX, XXX to fund the payment of a market supplement to Social Workers of £X,000 plus on costs, in respect of those Social Workers who have been in post for the complete year as at October 200X or on their annual anniversary thereafter. Drug and Alcohol Services. The National Treatment Agency (NTA) is a special health authority, created by the Government in 2001 to improve the availability, capacity and effectiveness of treatment for drug misuse in England. National targets in relation to substance misuse services are agreed with local Drug Action Teams in negotiation with the National Treatment Agency. The overall plan for delivery of substance misuse treatment services for Rotherham is monitored through the Safer Rotherham Partnership (SRP) as a spoke of the Local Strategic Partnership. The Safer Rotherham Partnership – in the role of the Rotherham Drug Action Team – has responsibility for: • The Adult Drug Treatment Plan, • The Community Safety Strategy, and • The Local Alcohol Strategy. As a partner in the SRP, the Local Authority produces an annual Self-Assessment Statement (SAS). Both the Treatment Plan and the SAS are monitored by the National Treatment Agency, the Healthcare Commission, and CSCI. . Social care staff employed by the Local Authority in the drug treatment and alcohol treatment teams are managed by the Trust, and contribute to performance against the Adult Drug Treatment Plan; and Trust employed staff contribute to the Adult Services Self-Assessment Statement (SAS).

Locality Teams Act as lead agency for the East Cambridgeshire Locality teams including ensuring a locality representative attends each ASB group meeting and to share information and provide updates about young people. Work in partnership with other key agencies to support young people identified as vulnerable/high risk. In setting the 2009/10 level of funding associated with the delivery of these activities the following factors have been taken into account;  A staffing level that provides for 5.74 full time equivalent staffing of: F.T.E. Team Managers 1.00 Senior Practitioners 1.00 Social Workers 3.00 Clerical and Administrative Support 0.74  In previous years this funding has allowed for 6.74 FTE staff. During 2005/06 the Arrest Referral Officer post was removed from this agreement and is now funded separately.  Funding in respect of the above posts is based upon the middle salary point of the pay range and an allowance for staff vacancies.  A pay increase of 1.5% from April 2009 (pay award pending).  Mileage and travel allowances.  Funding in respect of Assessment and Care Management activity (included in the f.t.e. numbers above) is commissioned by the Essex Drug Action Team. This includes a contribution of £20,836 from SEPT to the Essex Drug Action Team in respect of 0.5 Team Managers.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING Employees may be tested for drugs and/or alcohol pursuant to the provisions of the Employer's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement as if more fully set forth herein.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE 20.1 All employees must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.

  • DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY The parties agree that employees represented by this Agreement shall be free from the influence of drugs and/or alcohol while at work. The Agency's Drug/Alcohol Policy will be adhered to by such employees.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing Permitted Testing is permitted where the Employer has reasonable suspicion to believe.

  • DRUG/ALCOHOL TESTING 11.1 The parties agree that the maintenance of a drug/alcohol free work place is a goal of both the College and the Union. Employees are prohibited from possession, consumption and/or being under the influence of a controlled substance/alcohol while on the College’s premises or during time paid by the employer. Violations of this prohibition may result in a disciplinary action up to and including termination.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • Pupil Safety and Fingerprinting CONTRACTOR shall comply with all provisions of the Education Code which protect the safety of any pupil that may come in contact with employees of the CONTRACTOR. Pursuant to Education Code section 45125.1, CONTRACTOR shall conduct criminal background checks of ALL employees of CONTRACTOR assigned to the PROJECT site, and shall certify that no employees who have been convicted of serious or violent felonies, as specified in Education Code Section 45125.1, will have contact with pupils, by utilizing the General Certification Regarding Background Checks Form. As part of such certification, CONTRACTOR must provide the District with a list of all employees providing services pursuant to this Agreement, and designate which sites such employees will be assigned. In performing the services set forth in this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall not utilize any employees who are not included on the above-referenced list. At District’s sole discretion, District may make a finding, as authorized under Education Code section 45125.1, that CONTRACTOR’s employees will have only “limited contact” with pupils. In accordance with Education Code Section 45125.2, a CONTRACTOR performing construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair services to a school facility shall not be required to perform Section 45125.1 background checks of all employees assigned to the PROJECT site if such CONTRACTOR installs a physical barrier at the worksite to limit employee contact with pupils and/or provides continual supervision and monitoring of all employees of the CONTRACTOR by an employee of the CONTRACTOR whom the Department of Justice has ascertained has not been convicted of a violent or serious felony. Such CONTRACTOR shall certify to the District its compliance with one of the aforementioned alternatives under Education Code Section 45125.2 pertaining to pupil safety with the form entitled CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION REGARDING BACKGROUND CHECKS which is on file at the Administrative Office of the DISTRICT. Contractor’s failure to comply with the law or Article VI, Paragraph 4 of this Agreement shall be considered a material breach of this Agreement upon where this Agreement may be terminated, at District’s sole discretion, without any further compensation to Contractor.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.
