DEPARTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. (2005) The parties agree to departmental action committee meetings when requested by the Union or the Employer not more than once quarterly. The committee meetings will be comprised of the Union representative, one (1) departmental Shop Xxxxxxx and up to five (5) additional employees for Housekeeping, Kitchen, Banquets and for all other departments the one (1) departmental Shop Xxxxxxx and up to three (3) additional employees. The party requesting the meeting shall provide in writing to the other party: tentative date/time, an agenda of issues to be discussed, which may include any workload or job duty changes/increases which may affect any bargaining unit position. The Union will advise the Director of Human Resources of the Departmental Shop Xxxxxxx and the employee(s) who will be attending, prior to the new working week schedule being posted, so that arrangements may be made with the Department Head. It is agreed that the Departmental Shop Xxxxxxx and the employee(s) attending such meeting will do so without loss of regular basic pay.

The ROYAL YORK UNITE HERE LOCAL ONTARIO Article Union Dues (1999) (2005) The Company shall deduct on each pay period each month from wages due and payable to an employee who occupies a position covered by the Scope of the Agreement an amount equal to the dues, initiation fees and any other assessments as prescribed or required by the Union, and shall remit to the designated officer of the Union such amount.

  • Committee Meetings Subject to Article 19.3(1) and unless the directors otherwise provide in the resolution appointing the committee or in any subsequent resolution, with respect to a committee appointed under Articles 19.1 or 19.2:

  • Department Chairperson The department Chairperson has the dual responsibility of leading the department in fulfilling its responsibilities in academic and personnel areas and of facilitating the functioning of the department. The department Chairperson is the normal channel of communications between the department and other departments, division/areas or like groupings, offices and the administration.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 1. A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • Department Chairpersons The principal shall designate a high school librarian to serve as department chairperson, and such chairperson shall attend all school department chairperson meetings.
