The Basic Pay clause defines the fundamental salary or wage that an employee is entitled to receive for performing their regular duties. This amount is typically specified as a fixed sum, such as a monthly or hourly rate, and does not include additional compensation like bonuses, overtime, or allowances. By clearly stating the base amount of pay, this clause ensures both parties understand the minimum guaranteed earnings, thereby preventing disputes over compensation and establishing a transparent foundation for payroll calculations.
Basic Pay. "Basic pay" means the rate of pay in each wage schedule.
Basic Pay. You will receive one-half your normal annual pay that you would otherwise receive as a full-time employee, along with your retirement annuity, as described in 5 CFR 848.501.

During each month of participation in a pro- gram under this section, an officer who par- ticipates in the program shall be paid basic pay in an amount equal to two-thirtieths of the amount of monthly basic pay to which the officer would otherwise be entitled under sec- tion 204 of title 37 as a member of the uni- formed services on active duty in the grade and years of service of the officer when the of- ficer commences participation in the program.

Basic Pay. 3.1.1 The pay structure of the specialty doctor grade has been reformed to move from an 11 point pay scale to a 5 point pay scale over a three-year transition period, starting on 1 April 2021. During the three years of the deal, each of the transitional pay points have been set. Details of the pay scale between 1 April 21 – 31 March 24 are detailed in Annex A.
3.1.2 Once the final pay structure is in place as of 1 April 2023, doctors will need to spend a minimum of 3 years on each pay point and evidence achievement against the criteria set out in the pay progression schedule before moving to the next pay point (detailed in section 2.3 below).
3.1.3 The new pay structure will enable SAS doctors to access the top of the pay scale more quickly than under the current system. 3.1.4 Due to the reform of the pay structure and significant reduction in the number of pay points, the increase in basic pay for existing Specialty Doctors who move across to the new contract will differ. Details of the transitional arrangements for existing Specialty Doctors are outlined in section 5.
Basic Pay. 3.1. The Grade and rate of Basic Pay of the Employee is established in accordance with Schedule 1 (“Grade” and “Basic Pay”).
3.2. The Employee’s Basic Pay per month (“Pay Period”) must be paid within 5 Business Days inclusively after the end of the Pay Period through a direct bank transfer to the personal bank account of the Employee. In case that card account indicated by the Employee is not the card account of local bank serving AIFC, all relevant expenses for the operations on transfer and cash withdrawal shall be borne by the Employee solely.
Basic Pay. Per-Use and Flat Fee plans include all self-service productions of in the formats available in database(s). For production of additional file formats or CloudNine managed productions, and a fee of $75 per GB applies in Basic plans.
