DAM. A structure constructed across a drainage system which may create a reservoir to store surface water flow for water supply use or release in a controlled manner for DWERnstream use. A dam can be constructed across a river valley or at the side of a valley to store water pumped into it from “run of river” flow. Dams and associated storage reservoirs also store water for farm use. Floodplain: An area of land adjacent to a river, stream, lake or watercourse, or a coastal flat that is subject to inundation from time to time. Management of these areas is important to maintain the ecological health of a riverine system. Floodway: The river channel and a portion of the floodplain, which forms the main flow path for floodwaters once the main channel has overflowed. Groundwater: Water that occupies the pores and crevices of rock or soil.
DAM. XXXXXX The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy /dog parasite free and up-to-date with inoculations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good quality professional feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the dog, and never allow the dog to roam freely without proper fencing and/or supervision. The Seller guarantees this puppy/dog to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. A health record of all shots and worming’s will be provided to the Buyer by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to take the dog to a licensed veterinarian of his choice within five (5) days for a physical examination. Should puppy /dog be determined to be in ill health , the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Seller, the dog may, upon signed written diagnosis from said veterinarian, be returned for refund of the purchase price minus the deposit. Return of the Puppy will be at the Buyers expense. If the puppy is determined to have a crippling or handicapping congenital defect(s) by one (1) year of age, the Seller must be told by the Buyer. Seller will not replace or refund for any reasons such as allergy, weak knees, mortality, red mange, coccidiosis, worms, hypoglycemia, parvo virus, distemper, or exposure to extremes, etc. If the Buyer chooses to return the puppy to the breeder, the Buyer may have a replacement dog from a future litter, or may keep the said puppy. If the Buyer keeps the said puppy, the Seller will refund $1/2 of the purchase price, upon signed written diagnosis from said veterinarian. The Seller will assume no responsibility if this puppy / dog is given Ivermectin, Immodium or any of the MDR1 (Multidrug Sensitivity) sensitive drugs and suffers an adverse reaction. No other guarantees are given. If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this dog, the Seller is to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of dog in order for the Seller to locate a new home for this dog. The dog will be returned with a copy of up-to-date medical records. . DAM. This is a legally binding contract with the purpose of protecting the Seller, Purchaser and the puppy. Should you, the Purchaser, at any time prior to taking possession of your puppy change your mind it shall be understood that any deposit paid is non refundable. As breeders, it is our hope that you will take exceptional care of this puppy throughout its entire life. This means providing socialization, medical, proper nutritional, physical needs as necessary, treating your Golden Retriever as part of your family, and giving it lots of love for the remainder of its life. If for any reason you are unable to keep this puppy please contact us first. We will accept one of our offspring back. We do not repurchase or “buy back” dogs unless under the terms of our “right to first refusal” clause contained herein. Remember that environment and how it has been raised has tremendous impact on how the dog will turn out. Purchaser agrees that this puppy will receive obedience training beginning at approximately 4 months of age. Seller certifies that said puppy is in good health to the best of Seller’s knowledge. The purchaser is strongly advised to have the puppy vet checked within three days of collecting the puppy. If upon examination the veterinarian finds that said puppy is not in good health, the Purchaser must notify the Seller within 24 hours. Purchaser shall return the puppy to the Seller with all of the veterinarian documentation. Seller shall replace said puppy with another puppy of equal value as soon as one is available. The Purchaser agrees that any and all transportation at any and all times, to and/or from the Seller’s premises, will be at the cost and sole responsibility of the Purchaser. The seller is not responsible for any veterinary fees once dog/puppy has left Seller’s premises. No reimbursements for veterinary care will be made by seller to Purchaser. The Purchaser agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy including, but not limited to: vaccinations, internal and external parasite prevention and/or treatment and heart worm preventative medication if travelling to areas needed. The Purchaser agrees to maintain preventative care of the puppy in regards to hip dysplasia, such as proper nutrition, proper exercise, and preventing stress injuries (ie.
