COVID Leaves. 2 • Employees who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as a result of their work as a district 3 employee, will be eligible for District COVID leave. This is to be determined by Walla Walla 4 County contact tracing protocols and will include employees who are experiencing symptoms of 5 COVID-19 and are seeking a medical diagnosis if it is determined that the exposure was related to 6 their on-site work experience. Employees will remain on paid COVID District leave for the 7 duration of the quarantine. Employee will be available for alternative work assignment if 8 assignment is available.

COVID Leaves. 40 The District will provide employees a one-time benefit of up to five (5) days of special paid sick leave 41 for employees who are unable to work (including remote work if available) if the employee is subject 42 to a quarantine or isolation order due to a documented exposure to COVID-19 while at work in the 43 District. In order to be eligible for this paid leave, the employee must follow the directives of the 44 District and local health department regarding prompt testing following the exposure or the 45 development of COVID-19 symptoms.

The leave will be subject to the employee providing reasonable proof of the need for the use of xxxxx’s leave. In circumstances where the employee has exhausted all of the paid leave, a further 2 days unpaid leave may be taken.
