Community Open House. Prior to the Public Hearing, a community open house will be held to allow residents to “drop by” and review preliminary plans and ask questions of the members of the Project Team. The Open House format provides an opportunity to see and learn about the City’s new Comprehensive Plan Update before the adoption process begins.

Community Open House. RDG, working with staff, will develop a public event in which a number of engagements will take place over the course of a two-day period. This event is meant to not only better understand the larger community perspective, but also celebrate active living in Xxxxxx.
Community Open House. This open house is an opportunity for residents to review the draft plan. We have found that an open house format, organized with stations for each plan element allows participants to walk around and learn about facets of the plan that they find of interest. Each station would be staffed by a City/Steering Committee representative or an REA Team member who can answer questions and present that particular area in more detail. This informal process allows participants to spend as much or as little time as they can afford while also interfacing directly with the planning team. Input opportunities will be included at the open house and via online surveys to gather and final feedback before the adoption process formally begins.
Community Open House i. WHA will conduct the Lido Village Open House and prepare a series of full size presentation boards highlighting key components of the vision guidelines. The intent of the open house is showcase progress and vision intent for the village and gather community feedback. Design exhibits and content will be a series of text panels, photo images pulled from the initial draft of the guidelines. We will also prepare hand drawn character renderings of the site depicting future design intent for the village. All exhibits will be documented and incorporated into the overall design guidelines document. WHA and design team members will generate the following estimated deliverables.
Community Open House. The consultant will design and facilitate a community open house to share the results of the outreach activities described above and engage people in an exercise to develop guiding principles that will frame the concept development process in Phase 2. For the community open house, the consultant will complete the following tasks: o Prepare a draft and final open house plan that will identify project background information, room layout, schedule, and informational station staffing. o Participate in a 1-hour teleconference with City staff to prepare for the open house. o Prepare a 6 X 9 postcard mailer to advertise the open house for printing and distribution by the City.
Community Open House. (one (1) meeting) - The Consultant will facilitate a community open house to present and receive feedback related to the parks, trails, recreation, and open space master plan. Outreach, invitations, and announcements about the charrette will be distributed by the Client to the public. The Client would be responsible for identifying and securing a venue for the open house events. The Consultant will be responsible for all meeting content and will facilitate and manage the sessions. The meetings will be conducted in an open house format to obtain the maximum amount of input from participants. Information will be gathered through interactive small group discussions, written comment forms, topical/map “stations”, and general workshop discussion. To further facilitate the discussion, the Consultant will develop, execute and analyze the results of electronic keypad polling sessions that will be conducted to gauge community support for the recommendations of each master plan component.
Community Open House. Members of the Project Team, along with City staff, will be present for a community open house to allow residents and community stakeholders the opportunity to examine, discuss, and comment on the contents of the draft Comprehensive Plan document. The Project Team will be available throughout the community open house to present material, answer questions, and get feedback before initiating the approval process. If an open house is not feasible due to social distancing requirements, we will work with City staff to shift to a virtual solution. 6d: Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Aldermen Adoption Presentations The Project Team will present the draft Comprehensive Plan document at one Planning and Zoning Commission (public hearing) and one Board of Aldermen meeting. 6e: Final Comprehensive Plan Document Following the community open house and presentations, the Project Team will work with City Staff to revise the draft Comprehensive Plan. It is anticipated that up to two additional review cycles may be necessary to incorporate any final changes. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan.
