Check-In and Check. Out Responsibilities: Upon moving into the residence, the resident is responsible for compliance with all check-in procedures. During the check-in period, the resident will sign a completed Room Inventory Form (RIF) indicating the condition of the residence at the time that resident moves in. If the resident fails to complete all check-in procedures, including but not limited to timely signature of the RIF then the resident will be billed a $75.00 improper check-in fee. Within Ten (10) days after receipt of University’s notice, the resident must pay the improper check-in fee. The resident shall jointly maintain in a clean, safe, sanitary and good condition the residence and the areas directly in front of the residence with the other resident(s) who are assigned to that unit. The resident shall complete all check out procedures. The resident shall leave the residence in a clean and orderly condition upon termination of residency. Upon checkout, and not before, the resident will sign the original RIF indicating the original room condition. Any discrepancies between the check-in and checkout conditions may results in charges to the resident. The resident may request a pre-inspection with University professional staff (not the Resident Advisors or other paraprofessional staff) prior to check out, but no earlier than two weeks prior to check out, to assess possible damage fees; the final inspection will be assessed after move-out. If the resident fails to complete all check-out procedures, then the resident will be billed a $75.00 improper check- out fee. Within Ten (10) days after receipt of University’s notice, the resident must pay the improper check-out fee. The resident shall pay all charges resulting from cleaning of and/or damage to the residence. If the resident moves out of their residence, then they must remove their belongings from the residence within 72 hours of the checkout date. If the resident fails to remove its belongings from the residence within 72 hours, then the resident’s belongings will be removed by the University (to be stored and disposed of as permitted by applicable laws) and the resident will be charged for damages including, but not limited to, re-keying of the residence and the improper check-out fee.

Check-In and Check out Upon moving into their assigned room, the resident will complete, sign, and return the Room Condition Report to their Resident Assistant. The Room Condition Report will be an accurate and complete record of the contents and condition of the assigned room and will be the basis for room damage charges if assessed. When vacating the room, the resident agrees to follow established check-out procedures. This includes removing waste and debris and leaving the room in an acceptable, clean condition, and returning room key(s). Failure to follow established check-out procedures may result in the assessment of a $50 improper checkout fee and additional damage charges. Any personal property left at the end of the contract term will be removed from the room and disposed of according to practices, procedures or policies of the university. Fort Xxxx State University officers, employees, and agents shall not be responsible for any personal property not removed from the room by the resident.

When vacating the room, you must check out with a Department of Residential Education and Housing staff member, by returning your room key. The Check-Out Record, Room Condition Report Record, plus a room inspection by your Residential Education and Housing staff member, will serve as the basis for check-out charges. You agree to follow the proper check-out procedures when vacating the premises, which include returning your keys to a Residential Education and Housing staff member, removing personally owned or rented furniture and equipment, waste and debris, and leaving the room in an acceptable, clean condition. Should extra cleaning by College personnel be required because of poor housekeeping by you and/or abandoned property require storage until disposal, a service charge will be made. You agree to return all furniture to its original layout before you move out.
Check-In and Check out Procedures. University housing staff will communicate check-in and check-out procedures to Mayo Student and Mayo Group Sponsor. Included in these procedures will be the successful completion of a Room Inventory Form within 24 hours of occupancy by Mayo Student, for the purposes of documenting all existing damages. University housing staff, or their representative, will inspect the Apartment after Mayo Student vacates the Apartment to determine if any damage has occurred during the Summer Season, normal wear and tear and damage from the elements excepted.
Check-In and Check out The Tenant will inform the Company of his arrival and departure time at least one full working day in advance. Check-out will be carried out between 8am and 10am. The Tenant can check- in between 4pm and 6:30pm. Exceptions can be made by written agreement between the Company and the Tenant. If the Tenant doesn’t communicate his departure time to the Company on due time, 8am will be considered as the meeting time to proceed with the inventory of fixtures. Please be aware that in busy times the Company's representatives are not always able to meet the desired check-out times. They will therefore schedule appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. If a Tenant decides not to be present, the Company representatives in charge of the Premises will do the inventory by himself. The inventory will be considered as definitive even without the signature of the Tenant.

When vacating the assigned room/suite, the resident must check-out with the Hall Director or their designee. The Residence Life Room/Suite Inventory Form and an inspection by an appointed Residence Life staff serves as the basis for check-out charges, if assessed. Each resident agrees to follow the proper check-out procedures when vacating the premises or relocating within the system. This includes, but is not limited to, removing personally owned furniture and equipment, removing all waste and debris, and leaving the room/suite in the same condition as when accepted, reasonable wear and tear accepted. The resident is responsible for cleaning. Maintenance or repair required to return premises to the same condition as when accepted is accomplished by University appointed personnel and is billed accordingly.

When the resident fails to check-in to the assigned apartment unit, (s)he will be subject to applicable forfeiture and cancellation fees and will be charged all applicable apartment charges until written notice of housing cancellation is received by the Housing Department. All apartment buildings close by 12:00 p.m. on the Saturday of Final Examination Week.
