TEACHING HOURS AND CLASS LOAD. A. Elementary –Teachers shall be required to report for duty at 7:55 a.m. before the opening of the pupils' regular school day at 8:05 a.m. and shall be permitted to leave at 3:27 p.m. after the close of the pupils' regular school day. Teachers shall remain for a sufficient period after the close of the pupils' school day to attend to those matters which properly require attention at that time, including mutually agreed upon staff meetings and consultations with parents when scheduled directly with the teacher, except that on Fridays or days preceding holidays or vacations, the teachers' day shall end at the close of the pupils' class day. Secondary - Teachers shall be required to report for duty at 8:05 a.m. before the opening of the pupils' regular school day and shall be permitted to leave at 3:27 p.m. after the close of the pupils' regular school day. TEACHING HOURS AND CLASS LOAD. A. All teachers shall be in their assigned instructional areas and ready for work fifteen minutes before the beginning of classes or attending to instructional responsibilities. Teachers must be in their assigned instructional area(s) a minimum of five (5) minutes before the start of school. Teachers are required to remain at their instructional area of assignment or attending to instructional responsibilities for at least fifteen (15) minutes after the end of classes, with the first five minutes of this time to be spent in their assigned instructional area(s). On Fridays and days preceding a holiday, teachers may leave following the departure of busses, or fifteen (15) minutes following the close of the school day, whichever comes first, unless notified otherwise by the principal. The official school day for teachers will be seven (7) hours thirty (30) minutes, beginning at 7:45 a.m. and ending at 3:15 p.m.
TEACHING HOURS AND CLASS LOAD. A. Teachers shall normally work a seven (7) hour and fifteen (15) minute work day. Within the work day all teachers shall be entitled to thirty (30) minutes duty-free lunch period. Teachers may leave the building at lunch to take care of legitimate, personal business. Teachers are required not to return late. Teachers will make arrangements with parents who request to meet outside of the normal work day.

Such staggering shall occur between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Faculty meetings must begin within ten (10) minutes following student dismissal and shall last one hour. In no event shall this provision be interpreted to extend or shorten the teachers' day.
