Separate Contractors definition

Separate Contractors means other contractors retained by the Owner under separate agreements. The Owner reserves the right to perform construction or operations related to the Project with the Owner’s own forces, and with Separate Contractors retained under Conditions of the Contract substantially similar to those of this Contract, including those provisions of the Conditions of the Contract related to insurance and waiver of subrogation.

Separate Contractors means persons other than the Contractor including the Principal's employees who are engaged by the Principal to carry out work on the Site not included in the Contract concurrently with the carrying out of the Works.

Separate Contractors means those individuals or entities (including, but not limited to, concessionaires) who have entered into arrangements with the Owner for the provision of labor, materials or other services in connection with the Project.

Examples of Separate Contractors in a sentence

• The Owner may retain Separate Contractors to perform work or services related to the Work under this Agreement.

• This IPD Team is comprised of (i) the Prime Consultant and the Prime Consultant's S u b consultants, (ii) General Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers, and (iii) Owner and its Separate Contractors (collectively, the “Integrated Project Delivery Team” or “IPD Team”; and individually, each an “IPD Team Member”).

More Definitions of Separate Contractors

Separate Contractors includes subconsultants, contractors and vendors procured directly by the Owner to perform work or services on the Project.

Separate Contractors means the Multi Hearth Furnace Supplier, the Transmission Owner and any other subcontractors or vendors that will perform work for or on behalf of Owner in order to satisfy Owner’s obligations under this Agreement.

Separate Contractors means any contractor or other service provider engaged directly by the Owner (other than Design-Build Firm) to perform construction or other services relating to the Project or the operation or maintenance of Owner s’ property.

Separate Contractors known or anticipated as of the Effective Date are identified in Subsection 11.1.1 (Construction by the Authority or ADOC or by Separate Contractors).
