Informal Step. An employee shall discuss a complaint or problem orally with his/her immediate supervisor or his designated representative within ten (10) days following its occurrence in an effort to resolve the problem in an informal manner.
Informal Step. The graduate student employee(s) and, at the graduate student employee(s)’ option,the representative of GEO, shall meet with the representative(s) of the Administration closest to and best able to discuss and resolve the matter. If within ten (10) work days of the request for such meeting, the matter has not been resolved, the graduate student employee(s) may file a formal grievance and submit it to Level Two, Chancellor’s Level. Informal Step. An attempt shall be made by the grievant by means of an informal verbal discussion between the grievant and his/her immediate supervisor. If, however, the informal process fails to satisfy the grievant, a grievance may be processed as follows:
Informal Step. A grievant shall first take up a complaint or problem with the appropriate supervisor in a private informal conference. Every effort should be made by the grievant and the appropriate supervisor to settle the grievance at this level.
Informal Step. The grievant shall meet with the supervisor within twenty (20) regular working days following the date of the last occurrence to discuss the grievance.
Informal Step. Immediate Supervisor (Verbal) The employee shall attempt to resolve the grievance informally with his/her immediate supervisor.
