Customer Data definition

Customer Data means any content, materials, data and information that Authorized Users enter into the production system of a Cloud Service or that Customer derives from its use of and stores in the Cloud Service (e.g. Customer-specific reports). Customer Data and its derivatives will not include SAP’s Confidential Information.

Examples of Customer Data in a sentence

Customer will own all Intellectual Property Rights in and to all the Customer Data and will have sole responsibility for the legality, reliability, integrity, accuracy and quality thereof.

In the event of any loss or damage to Customer Data, Customer's sole and exclusive remedy will be for AMCS to use reasonable commercial endeavours to restore the lost or damaged Customer Data from the latest back-up of such Customer Data maintained by AMCS in accordance with the archiving procedure described in its Back-Up Policy.

AMCS will not be responsible for any loss, destruction, alteration or disclosure of Customer Data caused by any third party (except those third parties sub-contracted by AMCS to perform services related to Customer Data maintenance and back-up).

The Customer Data to be archived along with the archiving strategy and the retention periods will all be agreed with Customer as part of the Implementation.

AMCS will follow its archiving procedures for Customer Data as set out in its Back-Up Policy available at [amcsgroup.com, or such other website address as may be notified to the Customer from time to time], as such document may be amended by AMCS in its sole discretion from time to time.


More Definitions of Customer Data

Customer Data means any Personal Data that MailChimp processes on behalf of Customer as a Data Processor in the course of providing Services, as more particularly described in this DPA.
