Vacation Pay on Termination or Retirement. An employee terminating his/her employment at any time in his/her vacation year before he/she has had his/her vacation shall be entitled to an equivalent payment of salary or wages in lieu of such vacation at termination provided that the employee gives proper notice of termination. In the event that proper notification of termination is not given, payment will be made at the earliest possible date, but in any event, no later than the second pay day following the date of termination.
