Term and Scope of Employment. (a) The Company agrees to employ Employee in Palo Alto, California for a period of thirty-six (36) months, commencing March 9, 1998, and ending March 9, 2001, for the purpose of rendering services in connection with the Company's business. Employee agrees to accept employment with the Company for such purpose. In performing his duties hereunder, Employee shall observe and comply with all directions given by the Board of Directors of the Company or by his superiors.
Term and Scope of Employment. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Company will employ Executive, and Executive will be employed by the Company, as Vice President, Drug Development, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Executive will have the responsibilities, duties and authority commensurate with said position. Executive will also perform such other services of an executive nature for the Company as may be reasonably assigned to Executive from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer or the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”).
Term and Scope of Employment. This Agreement sets forth the terms, conditions, obligations and benefits of employment by and between the School and the Employee and incorporates the School's current Employee Handbook to the extent applicable. Employer agrees to employ Employee and Employee agrees to be employed by Employer for a period of five years commencing on July 1, 20 and ending on June 30, 20 (“Contract Term”) , to deliver professional management and education administration services in the position of Head of School. Employer shall advise Employee of its intent to renew, extend, renegotiate, or terminate this agreement prior to the end of the Contract Term at its earliest convenience but no later than June 30, 20 .
Term and Scope of Employment. 2.1 The term (the “Term”) means the period as set forth in Schedule A, during which this Agreement and the employment of the Associate hereunder shall be in effect, which period may be shortened by early termination under Article 6 or extended further by written agreement of the parties.
Term and Scope of Employment. Castagnolo is hereby elected, approved, and hired to serve as Human Resources Manager for the period through June 30, 2024, with a Board option to extend it for an additional two (2) year term, and Castagnolo hereby accepts said election and employment to (a) carry out the duties of the Human Resources Manager in a prudent and professional manner; (b) execute the policies and directives of the Board, and Executive Director, and (c) perform all of the duties of the Human Resources Manager as set forth in the School Code and in the job description as adopted and amended by the Board. A true and correct copy of the job description is attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and made a part hereof.

The Company Employer agrees to employ the Employee and the Employee agrees to be employed by Company with the title of Executive Vice President of manufacturing and product development for a period of one (1) year, commencing on March 31, 2011 and ending at the close of business on March 31, 2012, unless terminated earlier by the Company for cause or by the Employee for good cause or without cause, as described and provided for in Section 5 below, whichever shall first occur. The Employee shall report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the Company.
Term and Scope of Employment. The Company Employer agrees to employ the Executive and the Executive agrees to be employed by Company for a period of one (1) year, commencing on March 7, 2011 and ending at the close of business on March 6, 2012, unless terminated earlier by the Company for cause or by the Executive for good cause or without cause, as described and provided for in Section 5 below, whichever shall first occur. The Executive agrees to devote his full time and effort to the business and affairs of the Company and that, to the best of the Executive’s ability and experience, the Executive will, at all times, conscientiously perform all of the duties and obligations as may be assigned to the Executive by the President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the Company.
Term and Scope of Employment. The initial term (the “Initial Term”) of this Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and, subject to the further provisions of this Agreement, shall end on December 31, 2016 (the “Expiration Date”); provided, however, this Agreement shall be automatically renewed for successive one (1) year periods (“Renewal Term”) unless, at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the Initial Term or any Renewal Term, either party gives written notice to the other party specifically electing to terminate this Agreement at the end of the Initial Term or any such Renewal Term. Employee acknowledges that she is an employee “at-will” and, as such, is free to resign at any time without reason. The Company, likewise, retains the right to terminate Employee’s employment at any time with or without reason or notice. Nothing contained in this Agreement or any oral statement made by any Company representatives or any other document provided to the Employee is intended to be, nor should it be, construed as a guarantee that employment or any benefit will be continued for any period of time.
Term and Scope of Employment. The Company agrees to engage Consultant and Consultant agrees to be engaged by Company with the title of Acting Chief Financial Officer commencing on March 6, 2012 and ending at the close of business on September 30, 2012, unless terminated earlier by Company for cause or by Consultant for good cause or without cause, as described and provided for in Section 5 below, whichever shall first occur. Consultant shall report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Company.
Term and Scope of Employment. The Company Employer agrees to employ the Executive and the Executive agrees to be employed by Company as Chief Operating Officer until the close of business on September 30, 2012, unless terminated earlier by the Company for cause or by the Executive for good cause or without cause, as described and provided for in Section 5 below, whichever shall first occur. The Executive agrees to devote her full time and effort to the business and affairs of the Company during her employment and, to the best of the Executive’s ability and experience, will, at all times, conscientiously perform all of the duties and obligations, as may be assigned to the Executive by the President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the Company.
