Common use of Term and Scope of Employment Clause in Contracts

Term and Scope of Employment. (a) The Company agrees to employ Employee in Palo Alto, California for a period of thirty-six (36) months, commencing March 9, 1998, and ending March 9, 2001, for the purpose of rendering services in connection with the Company's business. Employee agrees to accept employment with the Company for such purpose. In performing his duties hereunder, Employee shall observe and comply with all directions given by the Board of Directors of the Company or by his superiors.

Term and Scope of Employment. (a) The Company agrees to continue to employ Employee in Palo Alto, California for a period of thirty-six twelve (3612) months, commencing March 9, 1998, on the date hereof and ending March 9, 2001on the first anniversary of the date hereof, for the purpose of rendering services in connection with the Company's business. Employee agrees to accept employment with the Company for such purpose. In performing his his/her duties hereunder, Employee shall observe and comply with all directions given by the Board of Directors of the Company or by his his/her superiors.
