Survey Database. The project length is 1.1 miles and the survey corridor will be 150’ wide along the conceptual alignment. Survey will be obtained for 100’ along public streets. • Provide field survey to develop topography, utility, and property information (75 parcels) in the project area for the analysis of road improvements. The underground utility location survey scope shall include calling the UPC for a utility locate request prior to performing survey. Survey shall include documenting UPC utility locate paint markings as well as all other known utilities in the area including both overhead and underground utility lines, electrical transmission line, water lines and valves, traffic fiber optics, communications pedestals, utility access vaults and cabinets, Manholes and traffic signal poles. The City of Xxxxx Creek will call in for utility locates and ensure they are marked prior to beginning field surveys.

Survey Database. The CONSULTANT will perform a survey under the supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor and by a survey crew experienced with GDOT database collection survey methods and guidelines. The survey deliverables will loosely adhere to general GDOT requirements, but not undergo compliance checks for approval by the CLIENT. The element to be surveyed and project limits will be based on the approved Concept Design of the CONSULTANT and not a consistent corridor width to meet GDOT requirements, if not necessary to facilitate the design. The Xxxxx Bridge Rd @ Xxxxxxx Xx and Xxxxxxx Xx Scope proposal – PE Phase May 26, 2022 exact elements to be surveyed include those stated herein and within the Fee Proposal assumptions. There does exist private property or residential areas adjacent to the project corridor where the CONSULTANT may require the assistance of the CLIENT to gain access for finalizing the database. The CONSULTANT will open a utility locate ticket to identify the areas of underground utilities, but outside coordination of the utilities is beyond the control of the CONSULTANT. A right of entry letter will be mailed to the properties along the corridor and maintained by the field crews. The data collected will be combined with information collected through a previous survey along the corridor for a complete database. Field surveys will collect the current conditions of the existing corridors, topographic and physical features, current property lines/ rights‐of‐way, and property ownership. A digital terrain model (dtm) will be compiled within the project limits for an existing surface to facilitate design.
Survey Database. The CONSULTANT has completed the Survey Database under a previous Task Order; therefore, no additional scope of services or compensation is required under this Task Order unless the conceptual design for the project is altered to require additional areas outside the original project limits. There does exist residential areas adjacent to the project corridor where the CONSULTANT will require the assistance of the CLIENT for finalizing the original database. These areas lie within the backyard area of private residences. Right-of-Entry to these areas was denied by the citizens during the previous phase and it was decided by the CLIENT to delay the collection of data in these areas until the project progressed to the detailed design phase and completed Public Involvement activities.
Survey Database. The Contractor is required to develop a suitable survey database for managing the operation of the survey. The database shall be used for recording the survey questionnaire responses, validating those responses and for capturing correspondence with data suppliers.

The Contractor shall notify the Owner upon the discovery of any of the foregoing, shall take reasonable steps to safeguard it, and seek further instruction from the Design Professional. Any additional cost incurred by the Contractor shall be addressed under the provision for changed conditions. The Contractor agrees that the Geological and Water Resources Division and the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources may inspect the Work at reasonable times.
