Student Surveys. 1. Each unit member shall have student surveys conducted by the Office of Instruction in at least one course or noninstructional assignment during the first semester of his/her first assignment at the college. Subsequent student surveys shall take place every six semesters in which the assignment is held.

When a faculty member is being 2850 evaluated, the student surveys for each of the semesters within the 2851 formal evaluation period will be available to the xxxx/academic 2852 administrator or designee and the information may be used in the 2853 faculty performance evaluation. 2855 (c) There is no minimum percentage of student survey responses 2856 required. However, if student respondents for any one class fall 2857 below the required minimums (as outlined below), such responses 2858 may only be used by the xxxx/academic administrator for the 2859 purpose of ensuring that the faculty member is meeting their 2860 professional obligations and/or adhering to Board Policy 2861 requirements, after validation by the xxxx/academic administrator. 2862 2863 Required Minimums based on census enrollments:

Student Surveys i. Each unit member will have student surveys conducted in every course or non-classroom assignment during the first semester of their first assignment at the college, and, thereafter, at least once during every three (3) semesters within each discipline the unit member holds an assignment. Quantitative (numerical) student survey results will be included in the evaluation, including the number of student responses received. Survey results will be weighted accordingly based on student response rate.

ODE and Teachscape shall mutually agree on a protocol for teachers that submit portfolios without video. Teachscape will require assurance from teachers but shall have no responsibility to confirm that teachers who submit portfolios with video have obtained the appropriate parental permissions. Software developed as part of this contract, and any amendments to this contract, constitutes Teachscape’s exclusive Intellectual Property.
